We love what we do & love to share with our customers, friends and blog visitors. We also share what we love in our ESAD Demonstrator community, through swaps, challenges, sharing knowledge, ideas & friendship and we’re always there to help and support each other.

So if you are a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator located in Australia or New Zealand then please feel free to leave me a comment with your email address then I’ll contact you with information on how to join our group.

You may have clicked through to my blog from Kelly’s Blog and didnt she create some great projects. If mine is the first blog you’ve visited that’s ok – just keep clicking through till you get back here.  Dont forget to leave some comments for the girls too!

So for today’s Blog Hop I’ve decided to create using the lovely new Candy Cane Lane Designer Series Paper.

This pack is awesome and there’s lots of designs and prints to use for all your Christmas projects and uses the colours Real Red, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake and Whisper White.

Here’s a couple of Note Cards I made …

SweetNoteCards

They are sweet arent they?

SweetNote2

This first one uses the ‘sweets’ paper and I’ve cut a couple of the candies, candy canes and a gingerbread man out to use as embellishments .

SweetNote1

This one I’ve used the same patterned paper with the gingerbread man again and a couple of sweets. The sentiment from the Cookie Cutter Christmas set works perfectly.

I’ve cut my sentiment into a rectangle and used my Layering Squares thinlit dies to create the scalloped mat.

SweetNote1a

I did notice as I was putting these two layers together that the scalloped rectangle looked an awful lot like one of the old Chocolate Cream biscuits from Arnotts!

Here’s another card made using the ‘house’ paper from the pack …

CCLHouses

I had fun making this card – I’ve used the Gently Falling Embossing Folder on my Whisper White layer and also on my Crumb Cake card base just to give the card a little more depth.

The houses are cut from the patterned paper which is quite easy to do with our Paper Snips.  I did snip the chimney off the house on the right and pop it on the other side of the roof to balance the card.   I’ve also added some clear Wink of Stella to the roof tops to make the snow all glimmery!

My sentiment comes from the very gorgeous Star of Light Stamp set and the Real Red Enamel heart embellishments work perfectly.

Thank you so much for stopping by today.  It’s now time to visit the very lovely Delys and see what she’s created.  Simply click here or click the next button below to hop to the next blog

  1. Those gingerbread men are just the cutest! I do love how the scalloped rectangle looks exactly like a nice biscuit!!! Delicious! Love the houses in the “snow”. Thanks for sharing.

  2. Love these Leonie. Isn’t the Candy Cane Lane one of our most cute ever product suites?
Your house card is one of the nicest I have seen with those houses snipped from the DSP – and thanks for mentioning the chimney! I would have missed that!

  3. Impressive as always!!! I just held a class over the weekend and we also used the Candy Lane DSP, fussy cutting out the images! Love it.

I just love comments and especially when they are from you!
