Z Blooms for You

Good Morning!  I have another card using the Blooms and Wishes Stamp set from my December Birthday Card Club Class …

This is a fun card called a Z-fold card and while you still use the same amount of cardstock for a regular card it folds a little different to make it just that little extra special.

You can see from the image above how the card folds and how it gets it’s ‘Z’ name.

This is how the card opens so there’s plenty of room for your message inside and the panel is the same size as the panel on the front so when it’s closed you dont see it.  The Designer Series Paper I’ve used is from the Blooms & Bliss pack.

To keep the card closed and dress it up a little I used the ribbon as a ‘belly band’ and it will slide on and off as required.

I’ve been a bit weary after our trip to Victoria – driving for 13 hours straight (with short breaks) can take it’s toll on you and especially when you have Fibromyalgia.  I managed to do some stamping yesterday so will show those cards during the week and now I must get back to preparations for tomorrow’s Sale-a-bration and Occasions Catalogue Crafternoon Launch – we’ll start at 2pm if you are free you are welcome to come along … just send me a message to let me know you are coming!

Thanks for stopping by …

  1. Hi Leonie
Your card is just beautiful. The colors are so nice together. I just love the way
you’ve put everything together. The chook card has really grown on me as well.

You take care of yourself and love looking at your lovely blog.

  2. Love how you muted stamped images blend in so beautifully with the designer paper, and the ribbon belly band just finishes it for me.

Happy New Year Leonie, so looking forward to seeing all your creations for 2017.
Take care and be kind to yourself.

    1. thanks so much Ali for your sweet words 🙂 I always do a stamping test and put it against the dsp I’m using and go with the generation that looks best. Happy New Year to you too – I hope you like what I create in 2017 😀
