Ways to use Embossing Folders – Brick Wall

Good Morning and Welcome to another edition of my new Ways to Use Classes and this month it’s Ways to Use Embossing Folders.

This class was so much fun and the ladies all loved it and it will be available as a Class To Go for you to purchase this week – or you can also get it for free so keep reading on for those details!

Brick Wall Sponging …

I loved doing this card and making the background.  I’ve used the Brick Wall embossing folder with Very Vanilla Cardstock. I then sponged with blues, browns and gray inks to  get this effect.

I wanted to emulate those plaques and metal decor items you can get for the outside entertaining areas.  I chose the pots from Gift from the Garden Stamp Set and just coloured my stamp with my Stampin’ Write Markers before stamping.  The sentiment is cut out using one of the frames from the Project Life Cards & Labels Framelit pack.

I do love the way the bricks are vertical – it’s like one of those trendy new style feature walls.

How perfect would this card be to go with a plaque or plant for a housewarming present?

Be sure to check back later this week to get all the details for my Ways to Use Embossing Folders Virtual Class!
