Very Vintage Hostess Set

I love our Hostess Sets and the one that first caught my eye was the Very Vintage Host Set.

Very Vintage Host Set from Stampin' Up!

I love all the elements and sentiments in this set and here’s what I created with it …

I’ve been doing quite a bit of watercoloring and ‘cute’ lately so it was nice to do a bit of vintage and collage.  I used the new Subtle Embossing Folder on the background and it gives it that aged linen feel.

My tag is created using the Scallop Tag Topper punch and I rounded the corners at the bottom with the Trio punch.  I used my stampin sponges with Crumb Cake to do the sponging around the edges and and dabbed them over the card for the aged look.

Want to see how I made it?  Here’s my Facebook Live video from yesterday putting the card together..

Did you know I do a Facebook Live Video every Tuesday at 11am (Sydney Time)?  If you pop over to my Stamp A Latte Facebook Page you can request to be notified when I go live each week.  I have lots of fun and chat to those joining me, answer questions, share news and offers and do either a card demonstration or a technique demonstration.  I’d love to have you join us!

How lovely were their projects?
