For Father

Well you can tell its summer when its still 38C (100F) at 4pm! I had hoped to go and do the grocery shopping this afternoon but looks like I’ll be doing it much later tonight or early tomorrow morning as its going to be hot then too – all I can say is praise God for Air Conditioning!

I just love stamp sets where you get to colour and there’s nothing better to colour with than Stampin Up!’s Water Colour Wonder Crayons! Add an aqua painter and Stampin’ Up! Water Colour paper and you have the perfect tools to create greate cards!

As soon as I saw the ‘For Father’ Stamp set I knew I had to have it – and apparently so did a few others from comments I’ve received via email ;)

tealpuppyHere is a card I made yesterday using the For Father stamp set and ‘that’ East Coast Prep Designer Series Paper – see two male cards within a week and both using the East Coast Prep DSP! Times are a’ changing!

I have tried colouring these images on other cardstock and other brand water colour papers and I must say that you really cant beat the Stampin’ Up! Watercolour paper. It is the best to use by far and the colours blend so well and just look so very lovely without much effort at all.

This image took me less than 5 minutes to colour and how cute is that little puppy? She (yes she) reminds me of my sister’s little Golden Retriever, Abbey. She is very cute and I dare say much bigger than when I was there in early December.

The For Father Stamp set is a set of 4 and is available until 31st March and in the Summer Mini Catalogue – and how nice is that saying? for those who cant read it – it says …

May HAPPINESS touch your LIFE
today as you have so often
TOUCHED the lives of OTHERS.

If you would like me to show you and your friends just how easy it is to watercolour on the Stampin Up Watercolour paper then please contact me to arrange your demonstration. You could all earn free stamp sets through sale-a-bration when you spend $100 from now until the end of February so contact me today before my diary fills up.

The Short & Tall Watercolour Class

I loved making those little watercolour love notes at convention so I thought I should make a class for you all to enjoy them too!

Watercolour Collection

Here is just a collection to show you what you’ll make in the class … you will make 8 cards – either tall or short or a mixture and and little folder to pop them into. A lovely way to keep them neat & tidy or to give them as a gift.

You will get to use the wonderful Stampin Up products and see just how much difference it makes to use Stampin’ Up!’s water colour paper – it really makes the world of difference with blending and colouring. It may cost a little more but the end result is soooo worth it.

I had so much fun making these up and I’m sure you will have a lot of fun during the class as well.

Check out my Classes & Workshops page for dates & times or email me for more details.
