What Will You Stamp – Tasty Trucks

Good Evening!  Hope you’ve had a lovely Monday and didnt melt today!  This week for What Will You Stamp we are creating with the super cute Sale-a-bration Tasty Trucks Stamp Set ..

I sure had fun playing with this set and hopefully what I’ve created for you today will cool you down a little … or maybe it will make want to duck out for a Tasty Treat – if that’s the case send hubby!  Now would be the perfect time to place your order and get the Tasty Trucks for free – any $90 order will get you this or any Sale-a-bration item for free!

Now all the cards I’ve seen with this set have all been using the Truck so I challenged myself to use the set without using the truck and this is what I came up with …

I sure had fun making these cards and once I worked out the best way to do my grid stamping they came together very quickly.

We have pancakes …

You can just about taste the syrup oozing off those pancakes.  What sort of Syrup do you prefer? Maple Syrup or Golden Syrup?  It’s Golden Syrup for me!

Cupcakes …

Who doesnt love a cupcake as a sweet treat?  I know I do and I’ve never been able to perfect the soft cake you get in the bakery.  What’s your favourite Cupcake?  Mine is Orange Poppyseed or even just a sweet plain vanilla one.

Ice Cream …

We all scream for Ice Cream!  Ice Cream has to be one of my favourite treats to have – especially in summer!  I love a yummy crispy waffle cone too!   What’s your favourite Ice Cream flavour?  I love Boysenberry Ripple and my favourite tub variety at the moment is the White Chocolate Raspberry Rhapsody from Aldi – it’s divine and very hard to get!

Comment with your favourites here on my post and someone will receive this sweet set of cards!

Here’s a quick video with some tips for lining up your stamps ….

Now dont forget to head over to the What Will You Stamp Challenge Blog and see what other sweet cards the design team have made for you this week!

If you have the Tasty Trucks Stamp Set why not make a card and enter into this week’s challenge?  Your card could be the winner and you could be a guest designer one week!

Dragonfly Smiles

I hope you are keeping cool today – well those of you in Australia at least.  We’ve got a hot one here today so staying inside, in the air conditioning and stamping!

Recently I hosted and Latte Girls Sale-a-bration Prelaunch where we all brought a card for each person to make which meant we all finished the day with 6 new Sale-a-bration or Occasions Catalogue Samples!

Today’s card is one that was designed by my lovely friend Libby from Libby Stampz.

This was quite a quick and fun card to do …

  1. Stamp the dots background twice each in Marina Mist, Blushing Bride and Perfect Plum to create your background
  2. Partially ink up the ‘Thanks for the Smile’ sentiment and stamp on bottom right in Memento Jet Black.
  3. Cut the dancing dragonfly die from Shimmery White Cardstock and adhere over dots with glue dots.
  4. Adhere layer to Perfect Plum Card Base.

See told you it was easy!

Would you like to make this card as your make and take at your party?  Contact me today to book your news year’s party in and I’ll pop this card in the post to you today to say thanks!

Inside the Lines – Sale-a-bration Sneak Peek

Good Afternoon … well it is after ‘noon’ but a little more ‘after’ than I had anticipated doing this share!

Today I have a super sweet card to share with you that we made at On Stage Live in November using the lovely new Sale-a-bration papers Inside the Lines …

I totally loved making this card as not only did we use the gorgeous new paper for Sale-a-bration and colouring is so on trend at the moment I just about squealed when I saw it in the catalogue.

Of course if they release a paper like this then they really need to also release a new colouring tool right?  Well they have!  We have a wonderful new set of Water Colour Pencils in the Occasions Catalogue.

The paper on the card above is coloured with the Water Colour Pencils then blended with the Blender Pens.  Oh my, they work so well together and cant wait to colour more now that my pencils have arrived!

I am taking bookings for the new year so if you are thinking you’d like a party or workshop with your friends then please contact me to arrange your date as I’ve had a few book already.  You’ll also be among the first to receive the new Occasions and Sale-a-bration Catalogues just by booking your party before Christmas.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you liked today’s card …

Freshly Brewed Projects from the Latte Girls – Emboss Resist

Good Afternoon!

Another hot one here today so again it’s perfect weather to stay inside with the air conditioning!

Its Wednesday so time for another round of Freshly Brewed Projects from the Latte Girls ..

This week we are all doing a little emboss resist and boy did I have fun with this!  I’ve gone a little different to the sponging as normally done and gone with a little water colour resist.

Actually it was more like Water Colour Pooling resist!  I did get it everywhere – but I did have fun!

The stamp set I used is one of the new Sale-a-bration sets coming in 2017 called So very Much so you have a little sneak peek today!

This one was just Tempting Turquoise. I love the different tones you can get with just adding water.

Dont you just love that big swirly Thank you?

This one I’ve used Tempting Turquoise and Elegant Eggplant.

The set comprises of 5 stamps – the large Thank You and 4 little reasons to say thanks.

This one uses Melon Mambo and Rich Razzleberry.   I think maybe I soaked the Rich Razzleberry up too much on this one but doesnt the white embossed Thank You pop on this card!

This one is my favourite – it uses Peekaboo Peach and Flirty Flamingo.

How did she do that?

This technique is quite easy but can get a little messy so be sure you have some paper towels and tissues handy!

  1. White emboss a sentiment or image on Water Colour Paper & heat it till its all melted.
  2. Spritz your embossed Water Colour Paper generously with water
  3. Drop 2 – 3 drops of reinker – add a second colour if you wish.
  4. Tilt card to swirl colour/s
  5. Dab off excess water with tissue or paper towel.  Dab lightly or you’ll take too much colour away.
  6. Once dry stamp second sentiment and assemble card.

See easy!  I’d love to see you give this a try and share with me what you make.

Now it’s time to check out what Libby and Narelle have created this week …

Hold onto your hats … Sale-a-bration & new Occasions Catalogue is coming!

Well, as you know, last week I whipped up to Brisbane to attend Stampin’ Up! On Stage Live.   I had a wonderful time catching up with some dear friends who I’ve met through Stampin’ Up! and also some of my Team.

These events are held every 6 months and they always unveil a new catalogue and feature some of the new products and therefore they are only open to Demonstrators to attend – this, in itself, is one of the best reasons to become a Demonstrator!

This past event they unveiled the new Occasions Catalogue and Sale-a-bration Catalogue which both start on 4th January 2017.

How gorgeous are they?  I can confirm they are both full of gorgeous new products and trust me when I say that you’ll want some Stampin’ Up! Gift Vouchers for Christmas!

I should have my supply of these Catalogues in early December so if you’d like to be one of the first to get one be sure to register here for your free copy!

Be one of the first 10 to book a party in the new year and you’ll also receive a bonus thank you gift!

Now I did say they premiere new products and we actually get to make some projects with them to bring home and share with you and today I have this sweet set of three little cards using the Sending Love Suite …

How sweet are these cards?  they are 3×3 cards and I’m loving that set and the coordinating framelits.  If you love hearts then this Suite is going to be a must have!  The Designer Series Paper Stack is gorgeous in Real Red and Whisper White and the Framelits not only include hearts but little mini envelopes as well just like the one on the card on the left!

Do you see that Wooden Embellishment?  How sweet is that and there are six different ones in the pack and six of each!  I’ve got lots of ideas for those beauties!

Now remember the Holiday Catalogue goes through to the 3rd January 2017 however, like last year, the closer to the end date we get some items sell out so if there is something in there you need please be sure to purchase it sooner rather than later.

Remember to register for your free Occasions and Sale-a-bration Catalogues so yours is first in the mail!

Water Balloons

Do you remember when you were a kid filling a balloon with water and dropping it from a height on someone or throwing it at someone?  How fun were those days!

Well my balloons today are not filled with water but they do have a Water Colour Background on the card – it’s a bit hard to throw a water balloon at you over the internet – I’m sure you are grateful for that!

Here’s my card …

This card was made and designed for this month’s Techniques To Go class where we had lots of fun with watercolouring – we played with a couple of different techniques and they loved doing this background and not one card was the same. I love how you have the same tools, same mediums and same instructions yet still have such different and wonderful results!

It just so happens that this card also fell into the brief for this week’s challenge over at Global Design Project!

You should pop over and see what my sweet friend Paula did – she did a watercolour background too but very different to mine!

To see all the entries for this week’s challenge be sure to visit the Global Design Project Blog.

I do hope you like my card today and I would love to come and show you how I made it – you and your friends could even make this card – just let me know what date suites you and we’ll get it organised.

Thanks for stopping by and see you latte ..

Suite Heart Gift Pouch

Wow … these Monday’s come around fast dont they?

I do hope you had a good weekend.  I did a party on Friday night for Jan and her friends and boy we had some fun.  One of the attendees got super excited when I told them they were making my Tea-Riffic Card as one of the make and takes – this was the other …

This is a super quick and easy project using our Kraft Tag A Bag Gift Bag – wow that’s a mouthful!  This idea came from the Stampin Up Home Office – it’s one of the little perks of being a Demonstrator that you can access private project video’s!

I’ve used the Suite Sayings Stamp Set for the sentiment and that sentiment is perfect for many occasions but super perfect for Valentine’s Day!  It fits chocolate and bags of sweets inside perfectly!

This could just be this week’s Periscope Project – be sure to follow me on periscope so you get notified when I’m going live!

Here’s another I may have gone ‘heart crazy’ with ….

If you look at the silver glitter banner you may think it was done with Glimmer Paper – it’s not!  It’s actually done with the new Glitter Tapes you’ll be able to earn for free with Sale-a-bration from tomorrow.  You get three rolls – silver, dazzling diamonds and gold.

I had one of those  moments at Jan’s Party.

I had the Hearts Border punch and wondered what would happen if I stuck the glitter tape in the punch. It would either punch out lots of little adhesive hearts or totally jam up the punch!

I’m happy to report that I ended up with lots of adhesive hearts so had to stick them all over the pouch!  There are a few there done in the Blushing Bride Glimmer paper but boy it was so easy to pick the sticky hearts up with the tip of my snips and pop them onto the bag!

Now today is the 15th so it’s the last day you can earn these three Sale-a-bration items …

Supply List

So you can either contact me with your order or shop online and earn these items today. Dont stress … we have three very lovely new products starting tomorrow so be sure to pop back then and see how cute they are!
Thanks for stopping by today and see you latte ..

Freshly Brewed from the Latte Girls …

Good afternoon and welcome to our very first Freshly Brewed Projects …

This will be a new weekly feature each Wednesday and today we are sharing projects using the three Sale-a-bration products that are ending on 15th February …

Hello Clear-Mount Stamp Set

Perfectly Artistic Designer Series Paper

Sky Is The Limit Clear-Mount Stamp Set

While Sale-a-bration continues through to 31st March we have these three products finishing on 15th with three more products starting on 16th February – they are cute too!

I decided to create some cards using the Hello Sale-a-bration Stamp Set …

These cards were so fun to make and super quick too!  Such a fun stamp set to create with too!

I’ ve just used some of our sweet Washi Tape packs to decorate the card after stamping the main image.

I’ve also used the smiley faces from the stamp set to decorate my cards.  I’ve added a little bling using the Basic Jewel Rhinestones and the It’s my Party Enamel Dots.

The Washi Tape sets I’ve used are It’s my Party, Botanical Gardens and Sweet Lil Things.

Now I do hope you like these cards and please be sure to click through to the other Latte Girls participating in this Freshly Brewed Projects Blog Hop by clicking the previous and/or next buttons below.
