Simply Sent Card Elements

This card was actually made for two challenges last week.

First challenge was the Sketch Challenge #32 with the Utah Diva’s blog using this sketch.

The other challenge was with the Aussie Demonstrator Only group – ESAD and a colour challenge set by Alisa. We really do have some very talented demonstrators in Australia as was evident from all the cards that were made for this challenge.

esad-may2009colourchallengeThe colours for this challenge were Perfect Plum, Rose Red, Old Olive and Whisper White.

As I flicked through the catalogue for inspiration I came across the Simply Sent Card Elements Flower Power kit and noticed it had all those colours so I decided to use this kit for my card. Although my card had More Mustard in it too so didnt quite fit the challenge but thats ok.

These kits are wonderful for making quick and easy cards – this card here took me all of ten minutes to make! The kits also have enough materials to make nine cards so at $30.95 (plus shipping & handling)  for nine cards its quite a bargain!

Here is what you get in the kit.

As you can see you get everything you need – all you have to do is buy some adhesive and youre done! It comes with brads, ribbon and buttons and the die cut sheet is adhesive so all you have to do is peel and stick! Couldnt be easier!

You might remember last year we had the Simply Sent kits which included the kits like the above plus a stamp set and inks or markers, etc. Well we still have a couple of those kits but to make some more affordable the kits have been separated into the ‘elements’ and the ‘stamps’ and each ‘elements’ kit has a coordinating stamp set and the one for the flower power set is the Wow Flowers set which is a set of 4 stamps for just $24.95 (plus postage & handling) and here is a picture of the set so you can see just how well it all coordinates.

If you look at my card you will see I’ve used the round Happy Birthday stamp to embellish my card with the addition of a rhinestone brad.

As a special offer to my blog readers I am offering a pack including Flower Power Card Elements, Wow Flowers Stamp Set and a Snail Adhesive for $68 – that means you dont pay any shipping or handling! So thats a saving of $5.95 to you. If you’d like to take advantage of this offer then please ring or email me as this offer expires on 15th June, 2009 so you’ll need your money to me by that date.

Now I’m off for a Latte and to do some more creating!
