Oh So Subtle Eclectic Layers

Oh So Subtle Eclectic Layers Card by Leonie Schroder Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Sydney Australia

I’ve used the subtles family colours to cut my flowers and leaves using Pink Pirouette, Soft Sky and Pear Pizzazz.  I’ve stamped my sentiment from the Oh so Eclectic Stamp Set and cut it out with the Stitched Shapes Framelits.

I’ve done a little watercolour wash on my base card so you see a slight blue hue through the cutout.

I’ve embellished my card with the new shimmery pool party ribbon and some iddy biddy pearls in the centre of the flowers for a soft feminine touch.

I do love this bundle for the endless number of projects and looks you can get.  This card was quick and easy with the Big Shot and the Stylish Stems Framelits.

I’ve also managed to combine a few more retiring products on this card …

  • Fruit Stand Designer Series Paper
  • Mint Macaron Card Stock
  • Pink Pirouette Satin Stitched Ribbon

Here you see how I’ve used the Gold Wink of Stella Brush.  I’ve used it to add texture to my card by flicking the brush to create my Gold Shimmery splatter.

The flip it over and colour with your Stampin’ Write Markers – too easy!  You could use any colours you wish to colour the flowers and play with other cut out dies  for many different and varied looks.

Happy Stamper Custom Tee’s

Good Afternoon … it’s been warm again today so the perfect opportunity to sit inside and be a Happy Stamper and create.  I’ve have some uber cute Custom Tee’s for you today.

How cute are these guys?  I actually created them for my Latte Girls Gathering in January as a make and take.  Now I offered them the opportunity to customise them as they wished but they all opted to make the same Tee – can you guess which one?

First up I have my ‘Hippy Tee’ …

So why did I label this one the ‘Hippy Tee’?  well those flowers just make me think of the 60’s and I think of Forrest Gump and that time.

The Floral Tee …

This is one of those sweet floral Tee’s with the dahlia type flower on it … I thought the splash background was perfect for this one to pop.

The Heart Tee …

How sweet is this one with all the different shaped hearts! I have again used a splash background to make the shirt pop.

The Art Tee …

This one I think is my favourite – well you should know how much I love a good grunge stamp and well this one was perfect for this Happy Stamper.   I actually sent this card into the Stampin Up Sydney Office with some forms and they loved it so much they posted it on the Stampin’ Up! South Pacific Facebook Business page – what an honour!  If you are on Facebook you can see it here.

This week I do have a couple of extra Happy Stampers – I had two ladies host parties last weekend and they’ve both opted to use their Hostess Rewards to reduce the cost of the Stampin’ Up! Starter Kit and grabbed two bonus free stamp sets as well!  They both ordered over $300 in their kits and paid less than $60 – now that’s a bargain!

I can help you be a Super Happy Stamper as well! Simply host a Stampin’ Up! Party before 31st March and then use the Hostess Rewards to partially pay for your kit plus you’ll get 2 bonus sets for free as long as you join before 31st March.  Let’s say your Hostess rewards come to $115 – you use that to pay for your kit so it only costs you $54! You can choose anything you like in either Catalogue to the value of $235 then select two extra stamp sets and just pay the difference!

So easy and you then can order and get an immediate 20% off your Stampin’ Up! products – now that makes one a very Happy Stamper!

Now did you work out which was the favourite Tee at my Latte Girls Gathering in January?   Comment on this post and I’ll choose two to receive these cards in the post.

If you’d like more information about becoming a Happy Stamper and joining my Latte Girls Team please dont hesitate to drop me a line and I’ll contact you to answer all your questions.  I welcome all business and hobby demonstrators and we have lots of fun!

What Will You Stamp – Sealed with Love

Hello and welcome to another week of the What Will You Stamp Challenge and this week we are using the lovely Sealed with Love Stamp Set ..

I’m not usually drawn to ‘valentine’s day’ stamp sets but this one has so much more than just Valentine’s in it.  We all need to tell people we love them more often don’t you think?  You just never know what is going to happen later today or tomorrow.

I have this sweet card to share with you today using this set and perfect for any time you wish to give somebody a love note ..

I just love those little envelopes and of course you have to have glimmery hearts floating up and out of the envelope don’t you?

I also love the soft sky in with the red and white – it just softens it a  little .

To create my floating hearts I simply punched a piece of Red Glimmer and Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer paper in the Confetti Hearts Border punch – this gave me three different sizes of hearts to use!

Who do you know could use a little love note this week?  Why not send them one?  I am sure they’d appreciate you thinking of them!

Now don’t forget to hop over to the What Will You Stamp Challenge Blog and see what the other designers have created to share with you this week.

Don’t forget you can  simply add the Sending Love Designer Series Paper Stack to your purchase of the Sealed with Love bundle and you’ll have earned yourself a free Saleabration product!

Special Reason Art Frame

Good Morning – hope you have started Friday off well and the day is going well.  I have another card for you today from my Special Reason Class last weekend.   I really do love this bundle and want to show you it’s more than just another flower set.

This card has a few elements to it and I was concerned that the ladies at class would get frustrated but they got through it with out any tears so they must have loved it right?

Here’s the card …

Looks involved right?  It has lace, it has ribbon, it has vellum, it has leaves and flowers,  it has a frame and, of course, it has grunge and rhinestones!

It’s not really as hard as it looks but it does take time doing each step and truly, once all the pieces are cut, it’s quite easy to put together.  My ladies did well and agreed it truly is a piece of art – frame and all!

My card was inspired by this card by Claudia Maser – a demonstrator from Germany

Elements …

There is literally two stamps on this card and that’s it.  The rest is just a matter ofcutting and layering the pieces before sticking them down in place.  When I do cards like this I lay all my pieces down and rearrangement them if I feel the need till it looks as I’d like it to and then I get out the Tombow Multipurpose Glue and the Mini Glue Dots and start adhering it all down.

Do you see the vellum leaves underneath?  My card just needed something and just something as subtle as vellum leaves gave it the depth it needed and now I want to put vellum leaves on everything!  Trust me – you’ll be noticing them over the next week or so!

Have you liked the Special Reason cards I’ve shared so far ?

I still have a couple more to show but want to do videos for them. If you have liked what you’ve seen so far maybe you’d like to host your own Special Reason Class with your friends?  We just need four people for the class to go ahead and if anyone decides to purchase the bundle they’ll get the class for free!

Maybe you work full time and dont have time for classes but would still like to do the class and maybe learn more then you may like to consider purchasing the Stampin’ Up! Starter Kit – you will receive $235 worth of products and pay just $169! You’ll also receive two bonus stamp sets of your choice for free when you join during Saleabration!  Plus, being a part of my team, you’ll have access to my Latte Girls team group, monthly team gatherings and you’ll also be able to choose one of my classes for free each month!  There’s lots of Perks to being part of my Latte Girls Team!

I do hope you like my card today and if you’d like more information about hosting one of my classes, or even a party in your home, or maybe you have questions about joining Stampin’ Up! and the benefits you’ll receive then please dont hesitate to contact me.  You can leave a comment on this post, give me a call or email me – whichever you prefer.

Freshly Brewed Projects with Flowers

Good Afternoon .. apparently it’s Wednesday so that means it’s time for more Freshly Brewed Projects from the Latte Girls …

This week we are creating with Flower Dies … now the hardest part of doing this week’s cards was to pick which flower die set to use!  We have a few in the Annual Catalogue but also have some more coming in the Occasions Catalogue which you are just going to love!

This week I chose to use the Stylish Stems Framelits Dies ..

I know you may be thinking “Oh no … not more flowers”  but when you see what these can do you’ll need them just as much as I did!

My first card today is one for the ladies ….

It’s simply the large flower cut out on a piece of Very Vanilla with simply the greeting ‘wishing you a beautiful day’.

The paper I’ve used comes from the new Falling in Love Designer Series Paper pack.  I just love that bokeh design – so soft and pretty and it works well with the flower cut out.

Now, one for the boys …

So yes you can use flower framelit sets to make cards for the guys!   I got this neat idea from my friend Brian King with this card and just had to share it with you!

This card was quick and super easy to do!  The tree canopy is cut using the smaller flower outline framelit.  The trunk and birds are compliments of the Tree builder punch.

I love the versatility of the sentiment – I am sure it was designed to go with the Happy Birthday sentiment in the Special Reason Stamp Set but it works perfectly on its own just to wish someone a lovely day and who doesnt need that?

I do hope you like what I’ve created today for you and now it’s time to pop over and see what Libby and Narelle have created for this week’s theme.
