Well after Tuesday stinkin hot 40C day Wednesday’s 20C was a nice relief and now today its raining – this is a good thing for the gardens and the fish pond out the front as the water level was going down with that very hot Tuesday we had.
What better way to spend a rainy day than stamping! Well I cant hang the washing out can I??
Here is the last card I made last week with my Dreams du Jour stamp set.
With the Spring Mini finishing at the end of this month I thought I’d better use some more of the very yummy Parisian Breeze Specialty Designer Series Paper.
This card is very easy to make and the colouring is easy too and its sooo therapeutic.
I’ve just used the Pretty in Pink in the centre of the flower and butterflies, then used Baja Breeze then Close to Cocoa on the edges of the butterfly wings.
If you would like to see the recipe for this card then just click on the image and it will take you to the project information on my Stampin Up! Demonstrator Website.
So if there is still something in the Spring Mini Catalogue that you dont have and ‘need’ to have email or ring me today to place your order!
Thanks for stoppin by

Something different I tried for this card was the centre of the flower.
I am rather happy with the final card and the taffeta ribbon is a must.
Now for the centre of the layered flower I have used a spacer bead – but I’ve put it on its side. I first put a dot of Crystal Effects on the centre of the flower and then dropped the bead in on its side so it looks like a tiny silver ball in the centre of the flower.
I had just mounted my Dreams du Jour set and its such a gorgeous set and this is the card I came up with and yes it seems those naughty Cherished Teddies have snuck into another photo! They can be so cheeky sometimes. (OK yes I’m tired – I’ve spent the past 24 hours on a friends blog and have had very little sleep)
