Good Afternoon and welcome to another Freshly Brewed Projects from the Latte Girls Blog tour. This week we are creating projects for the Guys
I have heard many say they really struggle to make cards for their male friends and family. They can be hard to create for however with a little bit of thought you can make all sorts of lovely cards for them.
Recently I made a card for the Technique Zone Design Team and I was tasked to use the Soot Stamping Technique. This technique is quite easy and makes really great cards for men.
For the Guys ..
Here’s what I made using Vintage Leaves ..
How cool does this look? I was a little concerned I’d burn the house down doing this technique but we all survived without having to make any insurance claims! It was also a lot easier and cooler than I thought it would be.
Stampaversary Day 3 Giveaway

Now I know you may already have the Vintage Leaves and Leaflets Framelits and still want these embellishments for free. Just purchase anything to the value of $90 that includes a leaf in the design and you’ll still get these two embellishment packs for free!
Now it’s time to head over to Libby and Narelle’s blogs to see what they’ve created for you today!
Today my youngest turns 18! Not sure how that happened when I’m sure just the other week she was 3! So I’ve made this card for her using the Birthday Celebration Stamp Set and the Happy Birthday Thinlits
This was another card included in my Birthday Stamp A Stack on Saturday. The ladies loved this card.
I used the small solid balloon from Balloon Celebration and stamped it randomly over my white layer in Flirty Flamingo, Pool Party and Peekaboo Peach. I wanted the balloon layer to be soft and subtle so stamped off first before stamping onto my card.
To make my Happy Birthday a little bit special I painted it with my Clear Wink of Stella Brush after cutting it out with the Happy Birthday Thinlit. I did try to capture the shimmer in the photo but it’s a little hard to see.
Dont forget I have my Facebook Live Card Demonstration today on my Stamp A Latte Facebook Page at 11am (sydney time) –click here to go to my page now. If you miss it ‘live’ you can always watch the replay!
Good Morning! Have you seen our awesome Pre-Release for August? You can purchase the Carols of Christmas Stamp Set and Bundle during August which is an early release for the Holiday Catalogue.
Carols of Christmas Bundle ..
This is such a wonderful bundle to create with as it’s got so many options and you can use it for other projects – not just Christmas!
Peace of Earth ..
This card is fun and super easy to make and was cased from a sample from Stampin’ Up! If you wanted to make a few of these you could simply have all your pieces cut and then pop them together while watching tv or a movie – too easy!
You can always step it up a little too …
For this one I’ve made it exactly the same. I’ve just sponged my trees in Garden Green around the edges with a dauber which gives them depth and dimension. I’ve also added some rhinestones to emulate snow and Christmas Cards need bling dont they?
I love this Bundle and will be holding a class for it on 26th August. Now if you are someone who cant make it on that date or cant make it to my place you’ll still get the class for free with the purchase of the Stamp Set or Bundle …
To purchase simply click on the item you’d like above and purchase through my Online Store and I’ll send you the class kit and tutorial for free! If you are shopping online be sure to use the Hostess Code to earn extra free gifts!

Good Afternoon – hope you are keeping warm where you are! Today I have another share from my Colorful Season class for your and today’s ‘season’ is Christmas … or winter.
Colorful Season for Christmas
I am currently in Victoria visiting family and it’s freezing here. I know it’s winter but boy they do get the wind’s off what feels like the winds are coming straight off the polar ice caps in Antarctica! So thought it fitting to share a card with snowflakes on it with you today!
I love snowflakes and soft colours for Christmas even though our Christmas weather is sweltering. The Seasonal Layers Thinlits was perfect to pair with the Soft Falling Embossing Folder and the sentiment from the Star of Light Stamp Set for this card.
Our Dazzling Details Glimmer Paper makes the perfect Snowflakes!
The sentiment comes from the Star of Light Stamp sent and is stamped in Dapper Denim.
Colorful Season Class To-Go
Purchase your Colorful Season set or bundle from me and you’ll receive my Colorful Seasons Class To Go for free
If you already have the Colorful Season bundle you can purchase my Class To Go from my Latte Shoppe.
Today I have a lovely card with a view using Colourful Season and High Tide from my Colorful Season Class.
Colorful Season High Tide ..
I love how this card turned out – it’s like looking out your window onto a beach scene. You can just about hear those waves crash cant you?
To create the ‘window’ on my card I cut a piece of copy/printer paper the same size as my top layer. Then using my trimmer I cut a rectangle mask out …
Once you have cut your mask simply lay it over your top cardstock layer that’s the same size and use your sponge brayers to brayer on Crumb Cake for the sand and Bermuda Bay for the Sea & Sky. Stamp your Sea/Water stamp before removing the mask so you keep the nice clean edges to your ‘window’.
Remove your mask and complete your stamping. The Adirondack Chair is cut from Shimmery White using the Seasonal Layers Thinlits and adhered to your top layer with mini dimensionals.
This is a great card that can be given for any occasion and another card totally perfect for giving to the males in our lives. You could even swap the chair out for some sea shells, birds or even a small boat!
Colorful Season Bundle Class To Go – coming soon
I do hope you like today’s card and if you’d like to purchase the Colorful Season Class To Go the Tutorials will be up later in the week in my Classes to Go Store. Again, you’ll get it for freewhen you purchase of the stamp set or bundle from me.
