A very Merry Christmas to you and your family!
I’d like to take this opportunity to thank you for all your support and encouragement this past year – without you I cant do what I do, so thank you!
I hope you have a wonderful Christmas and celebrate Jesus’ birth in sharing gifts of love with your friends and family as God showed His love to us by sending His Son.
Merry Christmas from the Schroder family!
Hello and welcome to another week of the What Will You Stamp Challenge!
This week it’s the gorgeous Flurry of Wishes ..
I love this set and used it so much last year for Christmas and being in the Annual Catalogue it’s been a little neglected this year but that’s now changed as I’ve made a couple of card with it now. I shared the Pastel Flurry of Wishes card last Saturday and I have this one to share with you today …
I love this colour combination of Wisteria Wonder, Blushing Bride and Pool Party! I think it works well with this set and this card. You’ll notice its the same combination as Saturday’s card but they both look so different.
The banner is cut from Shimmery White cardstock using the Banner Framelit Dies and I’ve then just splattered it with the Gold Wink of Stella Brush for that arty looking background.
My sentiment is cut using the Layering Squares Framelits and I have a scalloped square in the Gold Glimmer Paper for some added bling. I’ve also added Gold Metallic Enamel dots to the centres of my snowflakes.
Now be sure you pop over to the What Will You Stamp Challenge Blog and check out what the other designers have created. I know they will have created something pretty amazing for you!
We’d love for you to play along so why not finish off your Christmas Cards and create something with this pretty set – your friends and family will love it! Remember to add your creations to the bottom of the What Will You Stamp Challenge Blog and you could be this week’s lucky winner.
Thanks for stopping by ..
Today I have my last class for the year … awwww! I am looking forward to seeing the ladies today and have some sweet cards for the last Birthday Card Club of 2016.
Did you know it’s Christmas next week? How does that happen? you have weeks and weeks to shop and prepare and BOOM! Just like that it’s one week away!
I hope you are prepared but just in case you are short on cards here’s a quick and easy idea using an old favourite – Flurry of Wishes …
I love doing some Christmas Cards in non-traditional colours and snowflakes just call for soft pretty colours dont they?
The colours I’ve used are Wisteria Wonder, Pool Party and Blushing Bride. They go so well together and just match the Frosted Sequins so well!
Tools & Adhesive
Ribbon & Trim
Now I have a tip for you today. If you are sending out your cards this week please pop them into a plastic/cello bag that can be sealed to protect it from the weather. If you’ve gone to all the trouble to hand make a card you dont want it arriving all water logged and washed out.
I had two arrive yesterday and while it is summer here we have more rain forecast this week. One of the cards I received I couldnt really read the message they’d wrote inside which made me sad. So .. go grab some clear envelopes or cello bags and protect your work!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
Hello and welcome to another What Will You Stamp Challenge – this week we are using the Christmas Pines Stamp set …
This was one set that I didnt order at first. It was one I said “I dont need that as I have enough Christmas sets”. It was one, that when I saw what people were making with it, I thought two things … ‘what was I thinking that I dont need this set?’ and ‘I think I need to order this bundle!’
This set is such great value with 22 stamps included and it also comes in a bundle with the Pretty Pines Thinlits which coordinate perfectly! There’s even Designer Series Paper, Washi Tape, Ribbon pack, Embossing Folder and embellishments to coordinate with it!
For my card this week I thought I’d go a little ‘old fashioned’ Christmas and started with the music paper print from the This Christmas Specialty Designer Series paper pack and just built it up from there …
It sort of turned out to be a bit more layered than I’d originally anticipated and now I’m tempted to pop it in a frame to preserve it!
I loved making this card with all the layers and all the elements. The Gold Foil detail on the pine cones makes it pop with the addition of the gold bakers twine.
Be sure to click here and check out the cards from the Design Team this week – they are bound to inspire and wow you!
Do you have this set? why not create a card and play along with us for this week’s challenge at What Will You Stamp Challenge blog.

Hello and Welcome to the Anything But Holidays Blog Hop!
This hop is a little different as it’s using Holiday Catalogue products but for ‘anything but holidays projects’! Also, I’m hopping with some awesome Demonstrators with a clear goal in mind – Earning the Alaska Cruise Incentive Trip from Stampin’ Up!
So for you today I’ve used the wonderfully versatile Cookie Cutter Christmas Bundle to make these …
How sweet are these little Baby Cards?
I love the versatility of this set and how you can use it for more than just Christmas!
This one is done in Mint Macaron for those times you need a general baby card. The paper is from the In Colour Designer Series Paper Stack and the ribbon is the lovely Mint Macaron Sheer Linen ribbon – its so lovely and soft!
Then we have the Baby Boy card. It’s done using Soft Sky cardstock and paper from the Subtles Designer Series Paper Stack – it’s the same sheet as the one I used for the Mint Macaron card – its just the other side.
Cant forget the girls now can we? This one is done in Pink Pirouette and the ribbon is one of my favourites – the stitched Satin Ribbon. I’ve also embellished each card with another favourite being the Enamel Shapes – dot for the ‘buttons’ on the bear and a heart near the sentiment.
Those Designer Series Paper Stacks are such awesome value – 40 sheets of double sided designer series paper and one stack for each family and the two in colour selections. They cost less than $1 per sheet so that’s pretty good value in my book!
Thanks for stopping by today and now it’s time to head over to the next blog in our “Anything but Holidays” Blog Hop which is the lovely Narelle Fasulo! Click here to go and see Narelle’s wonderful creations.
Thank for stopping by and be sure you check out all the creations from these amazing ladies doing their best to earn the Alaska Cruise Incentive Trip from Stampin’ Up!
Good Afternoon and welcome to another week of Freshly Brewed Projects from the Latte Girls
This week we are sharing ways to package gifts for Christmas so I hope you find these ideas useful for your gift packaging.
Firstly … our Stamp Cases …
Our Stamp Cases make the best ‘gift boxes’.
You can buy a pack of either half wood mount, full wood mount or clear mount cases and you get 4 in each pack starting from $9! That makes for very affordable packaging.
You can cut a piece of patterned paper to slip inside the cover and so that keeps it clean and the paper doesnt tear and all you need to do is tie it up with a ribbon and pop a tag on it if you wish! You can customise each cover just by choosing a paper that reflects the persons likes in designs or colours – too easy.
You then pop in the customised gift for the person and you’re done … wonder who’ll be getting our new Watercolor Pencils, an Aqua Painter and Blender Pen for Christmas this year – makes for a very cool gift and also and sweet box to keep the pencils and tools in!
It’s Christmas so we have to have Bon Bon’s dont we?
These sweet Bon Bons were made from a piece of Designer Series Paper 6″ x 4 1/4″ and with a few scored lines and some punches from the Envelope Punch Board these babies are done!
It’s the perfect way to gift one or two pandora beads this year! Simply tie a piece of thing ribbon into a bow at each end and whack on a tag and you are done – perfect way to use those tags from the Tin of Tags Kit dont you think?
I do hope you like what I’ve created this week – it’s Christmas so they need to be quick and easy and a hassle free as possible and I love that these items can all be reused!
Now why not pop over and see what Libby and Narelle have created for this week’s hop.
Thanks for stopping by ..
It’s Monday again so that means another challenge from the What Will You Stamp Challenge Blog ..
I’ve done so much with this set I was a little at a loss on what to make for today’s post but being how versatile this set is I actually made 5 cards and I’m sharing these two today …
How sweet are these guys? Both cards are done using the Reindeer stamp yet I’ve managed to make them for two different occasions. So if you get this bundle now (and save 10%) you’ll still have occasions to use it for after Christmas.
For Christmas …
We have a sweet rudolf card! This one is fun to do and I’ve just used the blender pen to drag the colour in from the edge and shade it lightly. The strips behind my reindeer are just washi tape on white cardstock.
For Birthday …
Just remove the antlers and add a balloon for this sweet little Birthday card
I used my aqua painter and ink from the Soft Suede Ink pad to colour this one. I love how removing the antlers turns the reindeer into a dog! She’s super sweet isnt she?
I was sitting here looking at the card and then thought ….
She really could use a party hat!! Cute eh?
Now I know I mentioned I’d made 5 cards – which I have – but thought I’d save the other three for another post!
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you like what I’ve done with the Cookie Cutter Christmas set.
If you have the set why note pull it out and make something to pop into our challenge at What Will You Stamp Challenge Blog – I’d love for you to play along!
