Good Afternoon – hope you are keeping warm where you are! Today I have another share from my Colorful Season class for your and today’s ‘season’ is Christmas … or winter.
Colorful Season for Christmas
I am currently in Victoria visiting family and it’s freezing here. I know it’s winter but boy they do get the wind’s off what feels like the winds are coming straight off the polar ice caps in Antarctica! So thought it fitting to share a card with snowflakes on it with you today!
I love snowflakes and soft colours for Christmas even though our Christmas weather is sweltering. The Seasonal Layers Thinlits was perfect to pair with the Soft Falling Embossing Folder and the sentiment from the Star of Light Stamp Set for this card.
Our Dazzling Details Glimmer Paper makes the perfect Snowflakes!
The sentiment comes from the Star of Light Stamp sent and is stamped in Dapper Denim.

Welcome to another week of Freshly Brewed Projects from the Latte Girls and this week we are making Christmas in July projects for you
Christmas in July
Seems fitting that we actually now have a Christmas in July promotion for you this month too. Shame I couldn’t get the Carols of Christmas set in time to make you something with that. So today I have created a couple of items with the Holly Berry Happiness Stamp set for you.
Here are my projects for this week ..
This week on my weekly Facebook Live Video I showed a couple of ways to use the Gift Bag Punch Board so I turned the large bag into a Christmas Gift Bag ..
So once I’d made the bag I had to make a card as well ..
I love this set and the two step stamps! With a little fussy cutting on the holly sprigs it was quite easy to put together. The bows were punched out with the Holly Punch but would also be super easy to fussy cut out.
I do love Christmas and believe it’s never too early to start on Christmas projects so hope this post has inspired you to make an early start on yours!
Now let’s hop on over to Libby’s blog and see what she’s created for you this week …
Dont forget the awesome Christmas in July special from Stampin’ Up! You’ll get a bonus Essential Gift Pack worth $121 when you join the Stampin’ Up! family during July and I’d love nothing more than for you to join my Latte Girls Team.
Thanks for stopping by and I do hope you enjoyed today’s projects.
Good Afternoon and Welcome to another Freshly Brewed Projects Blog Hop with the Latte Girls. This week we are creating with masks ..
I love using masks and you can do so many wonderful techniques with them! This week I’m sharing a card I made for the Technique Zone Designer Team for the Reverse Masking Technique.
I love doing this reverse masked card with snowflakes for Christmas and I tend to do one each year. This card uses the gorgeous new Colourful Season Bundle ..
This bundle is so cool for all sorts of cards and such great value as it includes 24 Stamps and 17 dies!
To make my mask I cut a piece of A4 copy paper into four and then used one of those to cut my oval mask from using the Layering Oval Framelits then laid this over the layer and sponged around the edge of the mask ..
Once happy with the sponging I stamped my snowflakes and sentiment and added my snowflake embellishments ..
Then assembled my card ..
Hope you like today’s card and now I’ve made two Christmas Cards!
Thanks for stopping by today and don’t forget to check out the other Latte Girls in today’s Freshly Brewed Projects Blog Hop.
Hello and welcome to another week of the What Will You Stamp Challenge!
This week it’s the gorgeous Flurry of Wishes ..
I love this set and used it so much last year for Christmas and being in the Annual Catalogue it’s been a little neglected this year but that’s now changed as I’ve made a couple of card with it now. I shared the Pastel Flurry of Wishes card last Saturday and I have this one to share with you today …
I love this colour combination of Wisteria Wonder, Blushing Bride and Pool Party! I think it works well with this set and this card. You’ll notice its the same combination as Saturday’s card but they both look so different.
Now be sure you pop over to the What Will You Stamp Challenge Blog and check out what the other designers have created. I know they will have created something pretty amazing for you!
We’d love for you to play along so why not finish off your Christmas Cards and create something with this pretty set – your friends and family will love it! Remember to add your creations to the bottom of the What Will You Stamp Challenge Blogand you could be this week’s lucky winner.
Now I have a tip for you today. If you are sending out your cards this week please pop them into a plastic/cello bag that can be sealed to protect it from the weather. If you’ve gone to all the trouble to hand make a card you dont want it arriving all water logged and washed out.
I had two arrive yesterday and while it is summer here we have more rain forecast this week. One of the cards I received I couldnt really read the message they’d wrote inside which made me sad. So .. go grab some clear envelopes or cello bags and protect your work!
Hello and welcome to another What Will You Stamp Challenge – this week we are using the Christmas Pines Stamp set …
This was one set that I didnt order at first. It was one I said “I dont need that as I have enough Christmas sets”. It was one, that when I saw what people were making with it, I thought two things … ‘what was I thinking that I dont need this set?’ and ‘I think I need to order this bundle!’
This set is such great value with 22 stamps included and it also comes in a bundle with the Pretty Pines Thinlits which coordinate perfectly! There’s even Designer Series Paper, Washi Tape, Ribbon pack, Embossing Folder and embellishments to coordinate with it!
For my card this week I thought I’d go a little ‘old fashioned’ Christmas and started with the music paper print from the This Christmas Specialty Designer Series paper pack and just built it up from there …
It sort of turned out to be a bit more layered than I’d originally anticipated and now I’m tempted to pop it in a frame to preserve it!
I loved making this card with all the layers and all the elements. The Gold Foil detail on the pine cones makes it pop with the addition of the gold bakers twine.
Be sure to click here and check out the cards from the Design Team this week – they are bound to inspire and wow you!
Hello and Welcome to the Anything But Holidays Blog Hop!
This hop is a little different as it’s using Holiday Catalogue products but for ‘anything but holidays projects’! Also, I’m hopping with some awesome Demonstrators with a clear goal in mind – Earning the Alaska Cruise Incentive Trip from Stampin’ Up!
So for you today I’ve used the wonderfully versatile Cookie Cutter Christmas Bundle to make these …
How sweet are these little Baby Cards?
I love the versatility of this set and how you can use it for more than just Christmas!
This one is done in Mint Macaron for those times you need a general baby card. The paper is from the In Colour Designer Series Paper Stack and the ribbon is the lovely Mint Macaron Sheer Linen ribbon – its so lovely and soft!
Then we have the Baby Boy card. It’s done using Soft Sky cardstock and paper from the Subtles Designer Series Paper Stack – it’s the same sheet as the one I used for the Mint Macaron card – its just the other side.
Cant forget the girls now can we? This one is done in Pink Pirouette and the ribbon is one of my favourites – the stitched Satin Ribbon. I’ve also embellished each card with another favourite being the Enamel Shapes – dot for the ‘buttons’ on the bear and a heart near the sentiment.
Those Designer Series Paper Stacks are such awesome value – 40 sheets of double sided designer series paper and one stack for each family and the two in colour selections. They cost less than $1 per sheet so that’s pretty good value in my book!
