Welcome to another wonderful week of What Will You Stamp Challenges and this week we are creating with the lovely Balloon Adventures ..
This stamp set is so much fun! When I first saw it at On Stage last November I thought ‘it’s nice but not sure I need it’. It’s always amusing to think back on thoughts like these because it’s now ‘an awesome set’ and ‘everyone should have one’!
It also comes in a bundle so you’ll save 10% when you purchase the Stamp Set and Framelits together! What a great way to earn free Saleabrationproducts!
Here’s what I’ve made for you this week …
I have made a few cards with this bundle already and this time I wanted to focus on the sentiments in this set. It has some great sentiments and a couple, like the one I’ve used today, that work really well as stand alone sentiments.
I’ve use a couple of Stampin’ Write Marker techniques on this card. Firstly, I inked up my stamp in Bermuda Bay and then used my Island Indigo marker to go over the ‘full’ then stamped it on my Shimmery White cardstock. I then used my Pool Party marker to partially colour the block words ‘Another Year’ for an ombre look. It really makes the words pop.
I’ve punched the large balloon from my Balloon Bouquet punch in the Bermuda Bay Glimmer Paper (Saleabration item – free with a $90 order) and the Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper and added them with dimensionals.
The streamer stamp was stamped randomly on the Pool Party layer with Pool Party ink then sponged the edge for a little definition.
Did you know …
You’ll get a free limited edition Saleabration product when you spend $90 with me before the end of March
I’m running a Marker Club so with a small monthly commitment over 5 months you’ll end up with ALL our Markersand the Many Marvellous Markers Caseplus the new In Colour Marker pack for free in July
Welcome to another What Will You Stamp Challenge. This week we are all designing with the very lovely Delicate Details Saleabration Stamp Set …
This set is just so pretty and I love to create with it. I’ve had many grab it for free with their qualifying orders with Saleabration. You just need to place a $90 order to get this sweet set for free!
Everyone loved this card I made with Delicate Details last week . For this week I wanted to do something different than just covering the whole card with the lace images. I did a little thinking and decided on stamping half the card front …
My colour combination was inspired by the new Saleabration Glimmer Paper Pack. I love how Mint Macaron goes with Sweet Sugarplum! Such a pretty colour combination. It’s going to be a sad day of mourning when Mint Macaron retires on 31st May.
I’ve also included a 5mm (3/8″) strip of the gorgeous Sweet Sugarplum Glimmer Paper which is from the 2nd Release of Saleabration Products. In the Glimmer pack you get 12 sheets of 6×6 Glimmer Paper – 4 each of Mint Macaron, Sweet Sugarplum and Bermuda Bay. It’s a must have!
Do you always have lots of the larger Basic Pearl Jewels leftover? This is a great way to use them up!
The sentiment comes from the Bookcase Builder from the Occasions Catalogue.
This set is so versatile for all sorts of cards (Baby, Travel, Booklover) and I think it will be very handy in Project Life too!
Dont forget to hop over to the What Will You Stamp Challenge Blog and see what the rest of the Design Team has created. I’m sure they will wow you with their creativeness! You’ll be able to pop your link in for the card you make with Delicate Details as well!
Hello and welcome to another week of the What Will You Stamp Challenge and this week we are using the lovely Sealed with Love Stamp Set ..
I’m not usually drawn to ‘valentine’s day’ stamp sets but this one has so much more than just Valentine’s in it. We all need to tell people we love them more often don’t you think? You just never know what is going to happen later today or tomorrow.
I have this sweet card to share with you today using this set and perfect for any time you wish to give somebody a love note ..
I just love those little envelopes and of course you have to have glimmery hearts floating up and out of the envelope don’t you?
I also love the soft sky in with the red and white – it just softens it a little .
To create my floating hearts I simply punched a piece of Red Glimmer and Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer paper in the Confetti Hearts Border punch – this gave me three different sizes of hearts to use!
Who do you know could use a little love note this week? Why not send them one? I am sure they’d appreciate you thinking of them!
Good Evening and welcome to another What Will You Stamp Challenge and this week we are using Sunshine Sayings …
I love this set and it’s a great one for making up your own sentiments and sayings to cover any occasion. You can even purchase it in a bundle with the Sunshine Wishes Thinlits and we all know when you purchase items in a bundle you save 10%!
I was deliberating what sentiment to make up and remembered it’s my little sister’s Wedding Anniversary this week so I made this for her …
I wanted to do something a little different to the gushy pink & red so I went with Very Vanilla, Watermelon Wonder and Tip Top Taupe. These are from the 2015-2107 In Colours and will be retiring at the end of May so now is the perfect time to look at what you have and purchase any things you dont like markers, card stock and/or ink refills and purchasing them now will mean you could earn Saleabration products for free! Remember, these are the first things that get sold out when it gets closer to the end of the catalogue.
Hello and welcome to another What Will You Stamp Challenge – this week we are using the Christmas Pines Stamp set …
This was one set that I didnt order at first. It was one I said “I dont need that as I have enough Christmas sets”. It was one, that when I saw what people were making with it, I thought two things … ‘what was I thinking that I dont need this set?’ and ‘I think I need to order this bundle!’
This set is such great value with 22 stamps included and it also comes in a bundle with the Pretty Pines Thinlits which coordinate perfectly! There’s even Designer Series Paper, Washi Tape, Ribbon pack, Embossing Folder and embellishments to coordinate with it!
For my card this week I thought I’d go a little ‘old fashioned’ Christmas and started with the music paper print from the This Christmas Specialty Designer Series paper pack and just built it up from there …
It sort of turned out to be a bit more layered than I’d originally anticipated and now I’m tempted to pop it in a frame to preserve it!
I loved making this card with all the layers and all the elements. The Gold Foil detail on the pine cones makes it pop with the addition of the gold bakers twine.
Be sure to click here and check out the cards from the Design Team this week – they are bound to inspire and wow you!
I do love this stamp set with all the different shaped stars and it’s wonderful sentiments.
I’m not sure about you but every time, and I mean every single time, I use this set or even look at it in the Catalogue I have We Three Kings singing in my head! Not really a bad thing to be in my head I suppose and it is one of my favourite Christmas Carols!
Here’s today’s card …
I really enjoyed making the background using the smaller stamps in the set and I’ve managed to keep my Christmas tradition of having at least one card that uses Navy, Silver/Grey and Vanilla – one of my favourite colour combinations for Christmas cards.
Now when I’d done my card I felt it just need something – Wink of Stella to the rescue …
I painted over the Navy star and also flicked some on the background piece too so now its all very shimmery as a Star should be!
The silver thread behind my sentiment is actually threads from the Silver Glitter ribbon from the Glitter Ribbon duo pack in the Holiday Catalogue
I do hope you like my card today and would love for you to play along with this week’s challenge and create and share what you make with the Star of Light Stamp Set.
This week we are using the totally gorgeous Totally Trees Stamp Set! I love this set as it is just so very versatile!
Here’s my card for this week’s challenge …
I love the colours of Autumn dont you? They are a perfect match with the Petals and Paisleys Specialty Designer Series Paper pack.
I’ve coloured my leaves using the Baby Wipe Technique – so much quicker and easier than colouring each leaf different colours.
I would love for you to play along this week and all you have to do is to create a card using the Totally Trees Stamp Set then upload it to the challenge over at the What Will You Stamp Challenge blog. Why not pop over there now to see what the other Design Team Members have created.
I cant wait to see what you create!
Love my card but dont have the Totally Trees Stamp Set? you think you need it too? Simply click below and purchase it now from my online store …
When you purchase this set from me you’ll receive my Totally Trees Class To Go Tutorials for free which gives you four great tutorials to make even more cards with this stunning set!
I had planned to share this card with you earlier today however I got side tracked with the Cookie Cutter Christmas set! Those cards will be shared next week as they are for Sunday’s Stamp Club!
Now I’m not sure if you’ve heard but we have this pretty amazing Designer Series Paper deal this month ..
You simply buy 3 packs of our Designer Series Paper and you’ll get a fourth one for free! Pretty cool hey? That’s a saving of $19.25!
So with that special in mind I made this card today to send to a friend for her birthday …
I’ve used the Fruit Stand Designer Series paper pack and love the designs included in that pack. I originally was going to use the flower pattern for the circle but when I flipped it over to put dimensionals on it I loved how the pink dots popped on the yellow dotty paper so went with that instead!
It’s a great sketch and one that could be used with many of our different Designer Series Paper packs and for all sorts of occasions!
I hope you like today’s card and please don’t hesitate to contact me to order your Designer Series Paper packs. Remember you’ll get the 4th one for free! Shop online and have it sent direct to you to your door!
Welcome to another week of the What Will You Stamp Challenge!
This week we are creating with Sweet Home …
This is another bundle that as soon as I saw it I knew I had to have it and another bundle I havent had time to play with … till now!
Today’s card was one I made on my birthday the other week and as I love birds and birdhouses I teamed Sweet Home up with Best Birds …
How Did She Do That …
I’ve inked up my ‘house’ stamp in versamark then ‘kissed’ it onto the Hardwood Background stamp which had been inked up in Crumb Cake and then stamped onto Soft Sky cardstock.
My roof was inked up in Soft Suede ink the stamped above the house then immediately stamping again moving the ‘roof’ stamp down slightly to give it a two tone effect. I then cut my birdhouse out with paper snips which was easy with straight lines.
The entrance to my birdhouse was done with the door stamp. I only inked up 2/3’s of the stamp then stamped it onto the front of my birdhouse. Again I lifted and moved my stamp slightly to the right and stamped again to give the shadow and depth to the entrance.
All the other stamps on this card came from the Best Birds Stamp Set. The bird was stamped in Espresso, sponged with crumb cake then Espresso just along the edge and on the wing – just to define the bird image.
I lightly daubered Calypso Coral on it’s tummy and cheek to give her a bit of colour.
I painted the flowers using the Clear Wink of Stella Brush like an Aqua Painter with Calypso Coral ink.
Remember, If you do use your Wink of Stella to Water Colour this way remember to wipe off the remaining glimmer from your ink pad lid with a tissue or wet wipe. You dont want your ink pads all glimmery … or maybe you do?
I hope you like today’s card – thinking I might send it to a dear friend who’s father recently passed away.
