The new Idea Book & Catalogue has arrived!!

Well what an exciting morning it is!

First day of Spring and the sun is shining, the birds are singing and we have a gorgeous new Idea Book & Catalogue for you to spring into!!

Its a gorgeous book and one you’ll need to keep close to keep looking at – so many new stamps, papers, accessories, colours and we even have new storage for our Big Shot dies and Clear Mount blocks!

Oh and the price has reduced on the Big Shot and some of the dies!! Now that’s music to your ears isnt it??

Time

Time is one thing we all seem to crave yet can never get enough of!

I was so glad to see the Sense of Time stamp set included in the new 2010-2011 Idea Book & Catalogue. Its a great set to use for cards for those males in our lives.  I’ve even seen some great feminine cards too and when I do find some ‘time’ I might make a couple.

This card today is one we will be making at tomorrow’s Stamp A Stack.

Recipe:
Stamps: Sense of Time, En Francais
Paper: Chocolate chip, Ridinghood Red, Very Vanilla
Inks: Chocolate chip, Sahara Sand, Soft Suede, Basic Gray
Accessories: Stampin Sponges, Corner Rounder, 1 3/8″ circle punch, 1/2″ circle punch, Crop-a-dile, Jumbo Eyelets, Very Vanilla Taffeta Ribbon, Hemp Twine.

Would you believe that when I started making this card the layers and card base were totally different colours??  I so need some of the new colours to play with and cant wait to get them! Hopefully my orders will arrive early this week.

2010-2011 Idea Book & Catalogue Party

If you are local to me you might be interested in my New Catalogue Launch.

I’m actually holding it over 2 days – this way those who work can still come as can those who are free during the day. They are are 17th and 18th September – both starting at 10am and going through till 1.30pm – as the Saturday (18th) is my birthday there will also be some birthday cake to share ;)   There’s be door prizes and lots of fun and laughter – not to mention chocolate and coffee!  There’ll be bonuses for you too if you place an order or book your own demonstration on the day.  Places are limited so please be sure to reserve your spot!

Well I’d better go get the kits sorted for tomorrow’s Stamp A Stack so the girls have something to create :)

Summer is here!

Summer is finally here and if the recent temperatures didnt convince you then maybe this little book will ….

Although I will miss all the lovely sets in the Spring catalogue I now have many more sets to help you fall in love with and the new Designer Series Papers are just gorgeous!

Here is a card I made last week when my pre-order arrived.

It uses the Embrace Life stamp set which comprises of 3 different flower stamps, a leafy branch and a greeting all for just $45.95 – where else can you buy 5 stamps for less than $46.00??

I loved this set when I first saw it and I’m so happy now that I can share it with you all.

Here is another card using the same Embrace Life Stamp Set.

I’ve created the ‘window’ using our Square Punches and you just need to use your Stamp-a-majig to ensure the flowers are stamped in the right spot – easy! Makes a very simple and elegant card to say the least.

Now I must apologise too for my tardiness in posting of late. We had a scare where my mum was taken to hospital in an ambulance. She is back home now but still rather weak and needs to take good care of herself – I did pop down to Victoria to visit her (and my sister) last weekend which I am glad I did as we were given a treasure box FULL of photo’s dating back to the mid 1940′s!  Jo and I had a ball going thru them to say the least!

I also got a brand spankin new laptop last night so I’m also spending some time setting it up and to my liking! But boy do I love the big 17″ crystal bright screen … soooo nice :D

The new 2008 Idea Book & Catalogue from Stampin Up!® is now available!

How stunning is this book? The inside is just as gorgeous as the outside with many many new stamp sets – and some just for us Aussies and New Zealanders!

It has many new surprises inside including new Simply Scrappin Kits, Textured (yes textured) Cardstock, new gorgeous In Colours, rub ons (yup you read that right), punches, chipboard, new patterened papers and designer prints. Its all so very exciting and I dont know what to buy first!!

All good things …

must come to an end … or so they say!

Firstly, the Summer Mini Catalogue finishes on 31st March and I have really enjoyed promoting this Catalogue as it has such lovely stamp sets and accessories in it – and all very reasonably priced. You have probably noticed one of my favourite sets from this catalogue is Long Time Friend which I’ve used in this calendar along with Sage Advice for the saying. This set is so easy to colour and you just cant do anything wrong with it. Its perfect for cards or gifts like this calendar. Also, Sage Advice is a great buy with 4 great quotes and 4 images its great value at $47.95.

The other book that is finishing this month is the 2007 Idea Book & Catalogue. However with this book finishing it also means that we are getting a brand new Idea Book & Catalogue and I am rather excited and anxious to see the new products that will be coming in this book.

As you know the retirement list was released last week and there are many sets that are being retired that are some of my favourites. To celebrate those sets retiring and to give them one last hurrah I am offering 10% off all retiring stamp sets from the 2007 Idea Book & Catalogue during March. Now a lot of the favourites are selling out already so if there is something you’d really like you may need to be quick to get it as once the stock is sold out it will not be replaced or replenished.
