Freshly Brewed Projects – High Tide

Good Afternoon and Welcome to another round of Freshly Brewed Projects from the Latte Girls!  This week we are creating with the gorgeous High Tide Stamp Set.

I love bringing these blog hops to you every week and if there is a theme or stamp set you’d like to see in different ways please be sure to let me know!

High Tide Stamp Set ..

The High Tide Stamp Set is such great value with 16 stamps including images to build a scene plus some very lovely sentiments ..

High Tide Stamp Set from Stampin' Up! I love this set and have created quite a few projects with it already … you can make elaborate scenes or some sweet and simple cards with it – the choice is yours.

For today’s project I wanted to do something a little different so I thought a set of little cards would be nice ..

How cute is this crate?  It’s made using a new Framelit set coming in the new Annual Catalogue starting June 1st.   The paper it’s made from is a new 6×6 Paper Stack also coming in the new Annual Catalogue.   Trust me when I tell you that you are going to love this new Catalogue so be sure to register on my mailing list now!

Sandpiper Card – just using 3 stamps it’s easy to make a lovely ‘scenery’ card using your sponges and ink pads.

With a little masking after stamping the Lighthouse it’s easy to make this sweet scene with stamps, inks and sponges.

I love the serenity of this card. Cant you imagine just lying back at this beach and reading a good book or just to lay back and relax or maybe enjoying the afternoon with your friends.

To see how easily this card is done I did it as a demonstration on my Facebook page this morning .. check out the video below …

I hope you enjoyed the video and please dont hesitate to join me each Tuesday at 11am (Sydney Time) as I share news, tips and make a card live. These video’s are saved each week and you can view them at your leisure on my Stamp A Latte Facebook Page.

Now it’s time to check out what Libby and Narelle have created for you today

Freshly Brewed ‘Foxy’ Projects

Good Afternoon and welcome to another serve of Freshly Brewed Projects from the Latte Girls …

This week we are creating with the Fox and Friends Bundle …

This little bundle is so much fun to create with as the ideas are neverending and I hope I have some new ones for you today.

Now the project I’m sharing this afternoon is different to what I’d initially wanted to share after seeing a video from Stampin’ Up! this morning – hence why my post is a little late.

Pam shared her neat Project Life Mail Art cards and of course the lightbulb went off for today’s project.  Here are my Foxy Friends Mail Art Project Life cards …

How cute are they? and how perfect for a Baby Album?

I simply used my Project Life Cards and Labels Framelits dies to cut from the Little Foxy Paperstack for my bases and then just stamped and cut various critters out with the Foxy Friends Stamp Set and Fox Builder punch.

Now I have a tip for you … I was stamping like three times to ensure I had all the bits stamped right then found a tip on Pinterest so I’ve made this Pinter-tip for you …

You simply punch out the Fox Builder punch from a piece of cardstock and this will then become your template.  Then lay your stamps in the places they should go in the punch with the ‘stamp side’ down.  Simply pop your block on top and then once you’ve stamped your images they will fit perfectly into your punch!  No more wasted cardstock!!

Now I thought not everyone does Project Life – hard to believe when it’s so quick and easy I know – so I’ve cut out some card bases and popped my Fox Mail Art cards on top …

This makes four sweet little baby cards and perfect to wrap up and give as a gift for the new parents!

Now be sure to pop over and see what Libby and Narelle have created this week … hopefully they wont be too mad with me that my post was late.

Project Life by Stampin’ Up!

Good Morning and look … it’s Friday!

Yippee Skippy … two days off – well for some!

Today is my Latte Team Day and today we are holding the first of my restyled meetings – it’s ‘Drop n Play’ Day!  It’s just a day that the team knows they can pop over for a cuppa, a chat and play with some stamps and ink. They also know that I’m open to questions and help with a particular technique or project or help with their business.

Today we are having a ‘themed’ day being Project Life by Stampin’ Up!

I got my new album this past week and it is gorgeous … its Faux Leather and very stylish! I’ve already put my page sleeves in there and now I just have to fill up those pockets!  I’ve got heaps of photo’s so the hardest part will be working out which ones to start with!

I also want to show the girls that Project Life by Stampin’ Up! is not just for Memory Keeping – you can use your cards to make greeting cards or gift cards and tags. Here are some I made with the Everyday Adventure kit …

Life is an Adventure – and it is!  I’ve used the Project Life Corner Rounder on all my layers and I must say it really does cut through the cards and paper like butter!  This is one of the ‘cut-outs’ that comes in the Accessory Kit and I’ve just layered it over some Black and Coastal Cabana Cardstock to ‘pop’ the words.  Tied on some new Bakers Twine in a box and you are done!  The patterned paper is from the Moonlight Designer Series Paper Stack.

I love this quote!  It’s good to pause in our Pursuit of Happiness and just be Happy!

I think we all get so busy with life and what’s happening and we try to make others happy all the time yet we forget to stop and enjoy the moments and be happy.  I think with Project Life by Stampin Up it will be a way to pause, reflect and remember the times we shared when we took the photo’s – if we thought it worthwhile to take a photo to remember it then it surely is worthwhile to record it and ‘keep that memory’.

This one was done on a 6×4 card that I trimmed down to fit our card and the quote is another of the 3×4 cards and I just added the hearts which are from the Something to Say Stamp Set.  I just chose the colours from what was used on the card – too easy!

How sweet is that stamp?  Its from our new Hostess Set – Hello There.  I loved the Basic Black Heart cut out with the Hello Honey card. The circles are a stamp from Work of Art and the patterned paper which has the sentiment stamped onto it is from the Moonlight Designer Series Paper Stack.

These cards were all so very quick and easy to make and when you get 100 double sided cards in each Project Life by Stampin Up kit you have endless possibilities!

I love Project Life by Stampin Up and I’d love to share it with you!  Get your friends together and I’ll bring everything you need to do a one page layout – all you have to do is provide the refreshments and really they dont need to be fancy.  Grab your diary, grab your phone and contact me now to book in your date!

Stampin’ Up! Simply Stars

Hello and welcome to another Thursday Time out!

Now I dont know about you but I seem to have a terrible time to make cards for boys and men. Maybe it has something to do with being a mum to two girls or maybe I just like girly stuff – who knows – so imagine my surprise when these cards turned out as they did ….

Retro Stars
Retro Stars

I couldnt work out whether to use Early Espresso or So Saffron for the base card and since they were so easy I ended up whipping up both! They’d be perfect for any little boy who loves Cowboys!

Here’s the Early Espresso up close …

I love this Retro Fresh Designer Series Paper and Stampin’ Up! make it so easy with using their own colours in the Patterned Papers it makes designing cards so very easy when choosing a colour combination!  The greeting on this card comes from the very cute Just Sayin’ stamp set and the brads I’ve used on the stars are from the Vintage Trinkets.

Now for the Saffron …

Using the So Saffron for the base gives this card a much softer look.  The sentiment comes from the Label Love Stamp Set – I only wanted the words so I just used my Espresso Marker to ink them up and left the frame part out. The brads on this card are the Silver Mini Brads – love those things!

These make super quick and super easy cards and all you need is the Simply Stars, Retro Fresh DSP, some brads, Espresso Baker’s Twine and a sentiment set and you are good to go!

  Simply Stars

Retro Fresh DSP

I hope you like today’s cards and please feel free to contact me should you wish to book a party and see how easy these cards really are and what other ways you can step them up!

So much fun to be had I’m sure – thinking I might ‘need’ a couple of these too and seeing that the temperature is going to be 35C+ for the next few days it’s going to be too hot to do anything else so I think some crafting might just be on the cards – well till my new desk arrives at least!

Stampin’ Up! Too Kind

Happy Sunday to you!

I do hope you are having a relaxing day and doing some things you love to do.

Thank you to all who prayed for our fire fighters and the fires we are already having here – and its only mid-Spring so hopefully the back-burning will reduce the number of fires this Summer – or at least the intensity of them.  Please keep your prayers happening as there are still some burning but most are under control but we do have some hot days coming up.

Today I want to share with you some very quick cards I made last week to go into the orders from a Party.

These cards are so so easy and so so quick and I am loving the Too Kind Stamp Set!  It is a 2-step stamp set which I love so you’d either need a very good eye, a little magic or a Stamp-a-ma-jig!  The stamp-a-ma-jig really is one of those essential tools that everyone should have in their kit!

I literally made 8 of these cards in 10 minutes!  Too easy!!

So here’s a little bundle for you to purchase this week ….

  • Too Kind
  • Stamp-a-ma-jig
  • Bakers Twine (5 colours x 2 metres)

How much? $50 for Clear Mount and $55 for Wood Mount … thats a saving of 10% plus you’ll also get free postage!

Simply call or email me to place your order – offer is good till 31st October.

Here are the cards a little closer ….
