What Will you Stamp – Delicate Details

Welcome to another What Will You Stamp Challenge. This week we are all designing with the very lovely Delicate Details Saleabration Stamp Set …

This set is just so pretty and I love to create with it.  I’ve had many grab it for free with their qualifying orders with Saleabration.  You just need to place a $90 order to get this sweet set for free!

Everyone loved this card I made with Delicate Details last week . For this week I wanted to do something different than just covering the whole card with the lace images.  I did a little thinking and decided on stamping half the card front …

My colour combination was inspired by the new Saleabration Glimmer Paper Pack. I love how Mint Macaron goes with Sweet Sugarplum!  Such a pretty colour combination. It’s going to be a sad day of mourning when Mint Macaron retires on 31st May.

I’ve also included a 5mm (3/8″) strip of the gorgeous Sweet Sugarplum Glimmer Paper which is from the 2nd Release of Saleabration Products.  In the Glimmer pack you get 12 sheets of 6×6 Glimmer Paper – 4 each of Mint Macaron, Sweet Sugarplum and Bermuda Bay.  It’s a must have!

Do you always have lots of the larger Basic Pearl Jewels leftover?  This is a great way to use them up!

The sentiment comes from the Bookcase Builder from the Occasions Catalogue.

Bookcase Builder Stamp Set

This set is so versatile for all sorts of cards (Baby, Travel, Booklover) and I think it will be very handy in Project Life too!

Dont forget to hop over to the What Will You Stamp Challenge Blog and see what the rest of the Design Team has created.  I’m sure they will wow you with their creativeness! You’ll be able to pop your link in for the card you make with Delicate Details as well!

Freshly Brewed Projects – Delicate Details

Good Afternoon and welcome to another Freshly Brewed Projects from the Latte Girls. This week we are designing with the lovely Saleabration Set Delicate Details.

I love this set and love that you can earn it for free during Saleabration with a $90 order. The set includes 5 different lace images and are a great way to give your projects that vintage feel.

I’ve had this card in my Design Journal for a while and glad to finally get it onto cardstock and share it with you  …

How did she do that?

  1. The card base and top layer are Very Vanilla Cardstock and the middle mat is Pink Pirouette.
  2. Stamp the lace images in Soft Suede.
  3. Using Crumb Cake ink stamp the dotty stamp from Avant Garden all around the lace and up the right corner.
  4. Stamp the Flower Image from Avant Garden in Basic Black.
  5. colour the flowers with Pear Pizzazz, Pink Pirouette, So Saffron and Blushing Bride Stampin’ Write markers.
  6. Fussy cut the flowers with my Paper Snips.
  7. The sentiment from Avant Garden is stamped in Rose Red and cut out with one of the labels from the Project Life Cards and Labels framelits.
  8. I sponged around my sentiment and top layer first in pink pirouette then in Soft Suede.
  9. The bow is made from three lengths of Linen Thread and adhered with a Glue Dot.

I do hope you liked my Flowers & Lace card today.  The other set I used for this card is Avant Garden which is another set free through Saleabration.  You can grab both of these sets for free with an order of $180 or more.

Freshly Brewed Projects – Pocket Cards

Good Afternoon and welcome to another round of Freshly Brewed Projects from the Latte Girls and this week we are making Pocket Cards for you …

Now my initial plan was to share with you the Pretty Pocket cards from the Saleabration Catalogue that you can earn for free with an order but then I realised I used those last week so decided on something a little different for you today.

Now I know that I’ve used the Special Reason Bundle a bit of late but wanted to show you this Pocket card today.

This morning, as a demonstrator, we had a sneak peek at the new Saleabration items coming 21st February and one of those items is the new Glimmer Paper pack which includes glimmer paper in Mint Macaron, Sweet Sugarplum and Bermuda Bay. I knew they’d be perfect for today’s card and since we dont have them yet I thought I’d just have to make my own in the mean time.  So I took a sheet of Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper and made up some spritzers with Sugar Plum and Bermuda Bay and spritzed the glimmer paper and that’s what I’ve popped behind the cut-out flowers!

The pocket itself is made with the Mini Treat Bag Thinlit pack and I’ve used a sheet from the Oh So Succulent Designer Series Paper pack .  The insert is a plain piece of Shimmery White which I’ve stamped the gorgeous flowers from Special Reason on but reversed the colours of the flowers from that on the front.  I purposely left the insert blank so I can write my own message when I’m ready to send it.

Now this week it’s just myself and Libby doing the Freshly Brewed Projects with the Latte Girls Blog Hop so please click below and see what loveliness my sweet friend has made for you today.

Special Reason

Hi and Welcome!

I know I’ve been a bit absent the last week but I’ve had a terrible time coping with the heat and just getting the important things done.  Not that sharing my cards with you isnt important to me – it is … actually it’s very important to me but sometimes my health and getting through the day with my Fibromyalgia sometimes has to take priority.

That being said I did manage to whip up four sweet cards for last weekends Special Reason Class.  Now you may say you dont need another flower stamp set or framelit die set but I’m telling you now this bundle is not like any flower set we’ve had before.

Special Reason Bundle

This die set is awesome.  I’m so in love with this set as you can use them to cut out the stamped flower, or you can use them to fine cut out the flowers and leaves or as a stencil like I’ve done on this card …

All I’ve done is cut out the flower stencil in the two sizes and I’ve popped a white layer behind it with dimensionals.

Using dimensionals gives your card depth and creates the shadow …

How awesome is this Stamp Set?  It comes with 14 stamps including flowers and leaves in two different sizes as well as quite a few sentiments.  Now the sentiments can be used on their own or as a front & inside sentiment.  I’ve used the sweet sentiment ‘I’m lucky to have a friend like you’ on this card and really who wouldn’t want to receive a card with that on it?

If you’ve passed over this set or bundle in the Occasions Catalogue I urge you to give it another look.  The Bundle with Clear Mount Stamps is $80 so all you’d need to do is say add that gorgeous Very Vanilla ribbon and you’ll have earned yourself a free Saleabration item!

Now I also have a very special offer for you … when you purchase this bundle from me you’ll receive the class tutorials absolutely free and I’m sure you’ll want it after you’ve seen all the cards I’ve made with it and I have more ideas to come as well!

What Will You Stamp – Sunshine Sayings

Good Evening and welcome to another What Will You Stamp Challenge and this week we are using Sunshine Sayings …

I love this set and it’s a great one for making up your own sentiments and sayings to cover any occasion. You can even purchase it in a bundle with the Sunshine Wishes Thinlits and we all know when you purchase items in a bundle you save 10%!

I was deliberating what sentiment to make up and remembered it’s my little sister’s Wedding Anniversary this week so I made this for her …

I wanted to do something a little different to the gushy pink & red so I went with Very Vanilla, Watermelon Wonder and Tip Top Taupe.  These are from the 2015-2107 In Colours and will be retiring at the end of May so now is the perfect time to look at what you have and purchase any things you dont like markers, card stock and/or ink refills and purchasing them now will mean you could earn Saleabration products for freeRemember, these are the first things that get sold out when it gets closer to the end of the catalogue.

I do hope you like today’s card and I’d love for you to check out what the other designers have created for this week’s challenge over at What Will You Stamp Challenge Blog – simply click here to check them out!

Blooms and Best Wishes

Good Morning!

Earlier this month I held my Birthday Card Club class and this month we used the gorgeous Blooms and Wishes Stamp Set.

I love this set and all the different flowers you can use to make your very own arrangement on a card a bit like this one …

I’ve done some tearing on this card – something I havent done in ages and it was nice to be able to share this technique with the ladies.

I’ve popped some of the patterned paper behind the torn layers which gives the card a little more depth.  The flowers have been stamped in Blushing Bride, Rich Razzleberry, Sweet Sugar Plum and Island Indigo.  It gives for a very pretty card.

I’ve added a doily up the top and some Pirouette Satin Stitched ribbon for a little more femininity.

I do hope you like today’s sweet card and the online class for this months Birtday Card Club Class will be available for purchase next week.
