Hello and welcome to another Stamping Techniques 101 International Blog Hop ..
This month we are sharing quick and easy ways with Sponging. Sponging adds so much to your projects and can give them lots of depth.
For today’s card I’ve actually made two cards for you – one without sponging and then another with some sponging added so you can see the difference.
Without Sponging …
I’ve used the Awesomely Artistic Stamp Set and stamped the Dragonflies in Island Indigo, then the leaves in Bermuda Bay. Lastly I stamped the speckle dots in Pool Party. The sentiment is stamped inside the frame and adhered with Dimensionals with a little bit of Gold Metallic thread behind. That Gold Metallic Thread – as much as I loathe it – really does pop on this card.
Now to add some sponging …
Just by adding some sponging its now given this card more depth and what looks like another layer.
Would you like to see how I did it? Check out my Facebook Live Video to watch the tutorial …
Maybe you’d like to ‘like’ my Facebook Page while you are there as I do a Live Video every Tuesday at 10.30am (Sydney Time) and demonstrate a technique or card each week. Be sure to click the ‘Following’ tab and check for notifications so you know when I’m going live each week!
