Stamping Techniques 101 – Stained Glass

Good Morning and welcome to the Stamping Techniques International Blog Hop!  This month we are sharing projects using the Stained Glass Technique.

Stained Glass Technique

This is such a fun and easy technique to do and it can be done a couple of ways.  Today, for my card, I’m doing the ‘stamped’ way …

This technique is quick and easy and fun to do!

  1. Stamp image in Black on Vellum Cardstock
  2. Turn vellum over and colour from the back with Stampin’ Write Markers
  3. Allow colouring to dry before placing onto card.
  4. You may like to add a piece of white, or another piece of vellum, to the back to prevent colour tranferring to inside of card.

It really is that quick and easy!

Now I mentioned you can do it with die cuts too – well here’s a card I made previously doing just that …

I hope you like my cards I’ve shared with you today and you take a little time to make a card using the Stained Glass Technique as I’d love to see it.

Stamping Techniques 101 Design Team

We’ve had some changes lately to our Design Team.  Sandi has had to step down from managing it and we thank her for starting this Technique Share Blog Tour each month and wish her every blessing for her future plans.   We’ve also had a few other members leave for health and various reasons and also thank them for their time.

So what does this mean for the future of Stamping Techniques Monthly Blog Tour?

Well, I’m now the Coordinator for the Stamping Techniques Blog Tours!  I’ve invited some rather talented Stamper’s to join us and they graciously accepted!  You’ll see a couple in this month’s Blog Tour and more will be starting in the new year!

I’ve got some cool Techniques organised over the next 12 months so I do hope you’ll continue to join us each month.

Now it’s time to hop over to the next Blog on the Stamping Techniques Blog Tour being the lovely Libby Dyson

next on the Stamping Techniques Blog Hop

Here’s the list of all the Stamping Techniques Design Team participating this month …

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the Stamping Techniques 101 Blog Hop!
