Cup of Happiness

Good Afternoon!  Today I have a sweet card to share with you my Cup of Happiness card from my Team Room Suite Class

Cup of Happiness

I’ve created a tile background with a sheet of the Designer Series Paper – reminds me of an old Kitchen wall.  The colours I chose I took from the sheet of patterned paper I used.

I stamped 3 cups in Jet Black Stazon onto Shimmery White cardstock. The cups were then coloured in coordinating colours using the new Assortment of Watercolour Pencils.

I love how you can vary the depth of colour with these Water Colour Pencils simply by apply a little more pressure when colouring.  The pencil colouring was then easily blended with an Aqua Painter.

I dont know about you but I love to catch up with friends over a coffee (or tea if they wish) and just relax and chat.  It’s a great way to get to know others a better and to build friendships.

Blended Christmas

Good Afternoon!  I have my sweet Blended Christmas Card for you this afternoon using the Colour Your Season Bundle and Limited Time products.

Blended Christmas Card

This card was fun to make and the card I made last week on my weekly Facebook Live ‘Stampin’ time with Leonie’ segment on my Stamp A Latte Facebook Page.

I wanted to show how easy it is to create with this gorgeous Bundle and to incorporate the gorgeous new Watercolor Pencils Assortment.

It was fun to sit, colour and chat with those who joined me online.  I could have sat longer but know that we all have things to do and places to be but I do appreciate the time people stop their busy days to spend time with me while I stamp and create.

I love our Water Colour Pencils as you can control the depth of colour on your projects.  If you want a lighter or pastel colour you simply colour softly. For more intense colours and highlighting or shading simply press a little harder with your pencil. Not too hard though, as you want to break them!

To blend my coloured images I used the Wink of Stella Brush. It works a treat and gives your blended images a lovely shimmer.

Colour Your Season Limited Release

Don’t forget the Colour Your Season Limited Release Products are only available until 31st August – that’s this Friday!

When you purchase the Blended Seasons Stamp Set and the Stitched Seasons framelits together you’ll automatically save yourself 10%. Dandelion Happiness card by Leonie Schroder Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Australi

Dandelion Happiness

If you are a regular visitor to my blog you’ll know I love sweeping images across my cards is one of my favourite techniques and that I really love the Blueberry Bushel In Colour.

This card uses both so it’s a favourite and one we made in my Dandelion Wishes class.

First I stamped my little Dandelion flowers across my card in Blueberry Bushel.  Using Pool Party I used the little dotty stamp from Timeless Textures to stamp around my flowers.  I finished off by adding some little Basic Rhinestone jewels throughout the flowers.

The Blueberry Bushel Ribbon finished off my card perfectly!  The sentiment is such a lovely sentiment and just pops in Blueberry Bushel.

Dandelion Wishes Stamp Set

The Dandelion Wishes Stamp Set comes with some gorgeous images and such sweet sentiments for all your crafting projects.

Purchase it this month and you’ll be half way to a Bonus Days Coupon to spend in September!

Spring is Coming

Good Afternoon and Welcome to another Freshly Brewed Projects Blog Hop with the Latte Girls!  This week our theme is ‘Spring is Coming‘

Freshly Brewed Projects with the Latte Girls BLog Hop

Spring is Coming

Spring is my favourite Season!  It’s when all the plants come back to life with new growth, the flowers bloom and the birds sing.  It also happens to be my Birthday!  I love it when the cold winter days are fewer and the days start to warm up.

For my project today I chose to use the very lovely Tea Room Suite.  Now you know I’m not a tea drinker but no reason you cant have a latte in those pretty cups is there?

However, for today, something else is brewing in that cup …

I love all those oversized cups and saucers that people grown plants in.  Whether they be succulents or African Violets I love them all.  They are what I drew my inspiration for today’s card.

This card was one from last week’s class and I love the simplicity of it.  It was quite easy to do as I stamped all my elements and cut them out with the Spot of Tea Framelits and then simply assembled my card.

The background frame was cut from Shimmery White Cardstock then run through the Big Shot with the Subtle Embossing Folder. I love the texture that folder gives.

You can just see it in this picture.  It’s great for all sorts of projects and gives them an added bit of texture.

I’ve done a little water colouring on my cup using the Aqua Painter and the ink from the Ink Pads.  The other images are two step stamps.  My ‘sent with love’ sentiment comes from the Itty Bitty Greetings Stamp Set.

I do hope you like what I’ve created for you today and I know that the Latte Girls will have got you thinking about Spring with their projects.

Thanks so much for stopping by and see you latte!

Alaska Achiever’s Blog Hop

Good Morning.  Welcome to the Alaska Achiever’s Blog Hop.  This month the theme is Holiday Catalogue Sneak Peak and I’ve used the gorgeous Santa’s Workshop Memories & More Card pack and Cards & Envelopes

Alaska Achievres Blog Hop

Santa’s Workshop

Oh my gosh you are going to love this little bundle of goodies for your Christmas Cards and Tags needs.  So super fun!

The Santa’s Workshop Memories & More card pack comes with a total of 50 double sided cards, 6 single sided glittery specialty cards and 4 sticker sheets!  Then there’s the Memories & More Cards & Envelopes pack perfectly designed to coordinate with your Memories & Mores cards!  There’s 20 cards in a pack 10 each of 4×6 and 3×4!

Here’s a sneak peek at the products …

Santa's WOrkshop Suite Products from Stampin' Up!

This was the display board on the ship.

Now I was a little time poor yesterday to create so it was the perfect choice for today’s Blog Hop.  Making cards with the Card Pack and the new Cards & Envelopes makes for some super quick cards.  You could also make Gift Tags, Gift Cards, Mini Christmas Albums and, of course, some Memories & More pages!

Cards with Memories & More

Here’s what I’ve created for you today …

Ho Ho Ho Santa Card by Leonie Schroder Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Australia

Oh my gosh how fun is this card?  It was simply a matter of taking the 6×4 card and adhering it to the Poppy Parade Card Base.  I love these Cards and envelopes as they are already cut and scored for you to just assemble and send!

Santa’s Beard, Moustache, Hat Trim & Pom Pom are all glittery.  The Ho Ho Ho is all raised and glittery too!

Christmas is the Season of Giving …

We all love to give gifts in celebration of God giving us all the ultimate gift!  I love the Colours used in this little card.  The Scallop Trim is from the Adhesive Diecuts sheet and I’ve just finished it off with the sweet 1/8″ Real Red Ribbon.

Trimming the Tree …

I love this one!  Now while I do have a couple of ‘elves’ to trim my tree they dont quite look like these guys.  I’m thinking the ones on the card could get up to a little mischief given the chance!

Yes, there is glitter on this card too!  On the whites of the elves’ hats, the star and the tree garland.  So sweet dont you think?

The sentiment is from one of the Sticker Sheets in the Memories & More Card Kit.

I do hope you’ll give the Memories & More packs a more of a look as they really are not just for scrapbooking or memory keeping.  Probably why there is the ‘More’ in the name of the product line!

Let’s go hopping …

Now let’s go hopping with the other Alaska Cruise Achievers …

I do hope you’ve enjoyed the projects I’ve shared with you today.  I have loved being part of the Alaska Achiever’s Blog Hops over the past 12 months and I thank my friends, customers and family for all their support and encouragement and help in earning the trip!  We sure had a blast and hubby loved every minute of not only his first Incentive Trip but also his first Overseas Trip and his first Cruise!

Varied Vases Case

Good Afternoon!  What a lovely Monday I’ve had and I hope your Monday has been good too!  Today I’ve got a Varied Vases Case for you …

Varied Vases

Varied Vases is a wonderful little Stamp Set which you can also purchase as a Bundle and save yourself some money when you Bundle & Save with the Vases Builder Punch.

Varied Vases - purchase from Leonie Schroder Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Australia

The stamp set was designed by Mary Fish for her $1,000,000 Sales Reward. Each Demonstrator gets to sit with a Stampin’ Up! Concept Artist and design a Stamp Set in celebration of achieving this awesome milestone.

The card I’ve cased is actually one designed by Mary using the Narrow Notecards.  My card uses one of our regular Notecards so it gave me a little more space to play with.

The card uses a few of my favourite products.  The Varied Vases Bundle has become one of my favourites.  Some of my other favourites are the Stitched Shape Framelits, Vellum cardstock, Notecards and Envelopes and the Triple Banner Punch.

I love to add vellum to a project as it tends to give it depth and a little more interest and elegance.

The Share What You Love Artisan Pearls also add a touch of elegance and charm to this card.

That twine bow is made from the gorgeous Copper Baker’s Twine that comes in the Notes of Kindness Card Kit. I sure hope that comes out as an item to purchase on it’s own – it’s gorgeous and so much easier to use than the Metallic Thread!

The Varied Vases set sells for AU$45 and you can find it on page 45 of the Annual Catalogue.  You’ll save yourself 10% when you buy the Bundle of the Stamp Set and Punch.

Bonus Days Coupon & Help a Farmer

Purchase it during August and add the Notecards and an Ink Pad of your choice and not only will you earn yourself a Bonus Days Coupon to spend in September but you’ll also help me raise funds for our Farmers!  I’m donating $2 for every Ink Pad I sell in August and if you add the refill as well I’ll double that donation to $4!  May not sound like much but every little bit helps!

ESAD Colour Your Season Blog Hop

Good evening!  I hope you’ve had a lovely Sunday and thanks for stopping by for the ESAD Colour Your Season Blog Hop!

ESAD Colour Your Season Blog Hop with Leonie Schroder Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Australia

Colour Your Season

I am really loving this Limited Time Bundle – Colour Your Season.  It’s got lots of lovely images and sentiments and there’s also a pack of coordinating framelits.

Colour Your Season Bundle from Stampin' Up!

As you can see there’s some gorgeous images for all seasons there plus sentiments for just about any Occasion.

I’ve made two cards for you today.  First up I have my Blended Flowers card …

Blended FLowers using Colour Your Season by Leonie Schroder Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Australia

I really enjoyed creating this card and really love how the Soft Sea Foam goes with the FIirty Flamingo.

My flowers are stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black and coloured with our gorgeous Stampin’ Blends.  It’s such a joy to colour with our Alcohol Markers and get such lovely results.  I also love those stitched frames that come in the Blended Seasons Framelits pack.

My second card is one for the guys and for all the Farmers out there …

Wheat Wishing by Leonie Schroder Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Australia

I’ve cut the middle frame from Very Vanilla and stamped my sentiment and wheat in Soft Suede Ink.  To add some interest on my background piece I stamped the wheat randomly in Versamark ink.

I’ve then embellished the card with the gorgeous Copper Trim. Did you know that you can pull it wide to create the piece along the back. It reminds me of an old wire fence. I’ve also popped a bow from that same Copper Trim on the top frame.

Helping the Farmers ….

Did you know I’m donating $2 for every Ink Pad I sell to help the Farmer’s in need?  We are going through a terrible drought at the moment and many are struggling to keep their stock watered and herds fed. So every little bit helps.  If you add the reinker to your ink pad order I’ll then double my donation to $4 per set sold.

I do hope you like today’s cards as much as my ladies did making them in class last week.

Let’s go hopping …

Now lets see what the ESAD ladies have created for you today.  First stop is the lovely Maree ….

Here’s the complete list of all those in the Blog Hop today …

Distinktive Healing Hugs

Good Afternoon and thanks for joining us on another Freshly Brewed Projects Blog Hop with the Latte Girls.  This week we are creating with the gorgeous Distinktive Stamps.

Freshly Brewed Projects with the Latte Girls BLog Hop

Distinktive Healing Hugs

I do love the new Distinktive Stamps from Stampin’ Up!  This new design of stamps results in a perfect realistic stamping every time.  They were designed by taking an image from a photograph.

For my card today I’ve used the gorgeous Healing Hugs Stamp Set.

I love how easy it is to get such a lovely image from these stamps. The rose has so much depth and definition just from inking it up and stamping it.  Same with the leaves.

I stamped my main rose in Blackberry Bliss and the leaves are done in Old Olive.

My background piece was stamped in Highland Heather and the leaves in Pear Pizazz.  The rose on the background piece is 2nd generation stamping.

I wanted to give my card a vintage feel so I ran my background piece through the Big Shot with the new Subtle embossing folder after stamping.

You can see the definition this new embossing folder gives.  It’s like an antique piece of linen!

Thanks so much for stopping by today and hope you’ll give these new Distinktive Stamps a try.

Dont forget that we still have Bonus Days happening.  You’ll earn a $9 coupon for every $90 you spend during August.

Dandelion Wishes

Good Evening and what a day it’s been!  Today I have for you a sweet card we made in my Dandelion Wishes Class before my trip.

Dandelion Wishes Card by Leonie Schroder Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Australia

Dandelion Wishes Card

I did enjoy making this card.  Starting with the Bokeh Dots Stamp which I stamped in Blushing Bride. Now I do love the Distinktive Stamps and how all the work is done for you – it’s simply a matter of inking it up and stamping it onto cardstock.

I then stamped my Dandelion and Sentiment stamp in Versamark Ink. I then covered it in Copper Embossing powder, shook of the excess and heated the powder with my Heat Tool till it melted.

Dandelion Wishes Card by Leonie Schroder Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Australia

There is something about Heat Embossing cards that make you want to touch and feel the embossing!

To finish off my card I added a few of the Basic Adhesive Backed Sequins.  They just added to the softness and charm of this card.

Today has been full of all sorts of stresses and one where I should have just gone out and found a dandelion and blown them all away!  It’s a good thought now the day is done.

Firstly, we’d arranged to change providers for our NBN and I’d been advised it was happening Thursday. This was good as it meant it wouldnt interfere with me registering for On Stage or doing my Facebook Live Video this morning.

Well they switched us over at 12.30am this morning and I go so stressed I feared I’d miss out on On Stage!  Thankfully hubby is a IT Guru and managed to get me connected! The new modem has now arrived so hubby can hook it all up when he gets home.

Now the only thing with the changeover is I no longer have my home number, which I’ve had for over 30 years, so if you want my home number please message me and I’ll give you the new one.

Purchase an Ink Pad to Help the Farmers!

Every little bit helps and if you have a local Farmer’s Market be sure you get along there and support your local Farmers!
