Good Morning and welcome to another Merry Monday! Today I have two super quick and easy note cards using the Merry Mistletoe Stamp Set
This is a super quick and super easy card done using your Stampin’ Write markers to colour your stamp so you only have to stamp it once!
I’ve then used a couple of left over strips from the Be Merry Designer Series Paper Pack to pop behind my Stitched Oval. This would make a great card for Christmas as it’s so quick and easy to put together.
More leftover strips for the background on this card. It’s a great way to use up all those cut-offs that we all seem to have!
This one has the tree stamped off 2 times before stamping behind the Christmas Wishes Sentiment. I’ve used the Layering Circles Framelits to cut out the sentiment and the scalloped circle layer. Then a length of ribbon folded like a bow behind the sentiment panel gives this card more depth.
The Merry Mistletoe set is such a lovely set and so versatile for many of your Christmas Projects and with 9 stamps in the set they work out at less than $3.70 per stamp!
I know you’ll love creating projects with this stamp set too!
Now I have a special deal for you today …
Purchase the Merry Mistletoe Stamp Set & the Be Merry Designer Series Paper Pack and you’ll receive a pack of Notecards (valued over $10) for free!
this deal is good till Monday 13th November – so go grab it now!
Good Morning – I hope you’ve been have a wonderful week and yay …it’s nearly the weekend! Today’s card was one I did for a recent private class using the Flourishing Phrases Stamp Set.
The ladies wanted to do cards learning new techniques. This card has the Spritzed Block Background Technique and they really loved how their backgrounds all came out so differently yet used the same colours and products.
Sprizted Block Background Technique
This is a fun technique to do and you’ve probably got all the tools you need to do it yourself. You just need an acrylic block, Stampin’ Write Markers and a Stampin’ Spritzer with water.
Simply colour direct onto your acrylic block with your markers randomly and then spritz finely with the water. Stamp your block onto your cardstock and give it a good press all over. Then lift and dab any excess water or use your Heat Tool to dry your piece off. Then stamp and create your card. You will want to make sure your card layer is dry before stamping on it or it may run.
I’ve stamped my flourish stamp in pool party and then using the Flourish Framelits cut one out of Copper Foil to adhere over the top.
I’ve also coloured my pearls with a bronze metallic sharpie pen for a more metallic look to the card. Finish it off with some of our gorgeous Copper Trim and you have one classy card.
I hope you like today’s card and should you wish to learn some techniques with your friends or just get together and stamp some cards contact me and we’ll arrange your own private class.
Hello & Welcome! It’s time for another Stamping Techniques 101 Blog Tour and this month we are sharing with you the Spotlight Technique!
The Spotlight Technique is fun and easy to do. It’s a technique where you highlight just one area of the card and add colour to just that area just as if you were shining a spotlight on it.
Today I’ve teamed up the gorgeous Flirty Flowers Stamp Set and the even more gorgeous Stampin’ Blends and made this card for you …
Now I will admit that I havent been a big fan of this technique … well until now! I love how this card turned out and I love how vibrant the colours are with using the new Stampin’ Blends Alcohol Markers from Stampin’ Up!
Spotlight Technique Steps ..
Now it can be tricky stamping the piece to go on top and I have a simple way for you to do that …
Stamp your front layer as you would normally
Use a punch or die to cut out a section of your panel (I used the 1 3/4″ circle punch)
Cut another shape slightly bigger with a die or other punch to layer your cut out piece on – you dont want the border too big
Colour your punched out piece as desired
Adhere your coloured piece to your mat and then attach to card with dimensionals
Using the ‘mat’ will cover the area that was just punched out so you dont see it and everyone wow’s at how clever you are lining up your images so perfectly!
Do you see those gorgeous yellow rhinestones? How well do they blend in with my card? You wont find them in the catalogue but you can colour our regular rhinestones with the new Stampin’ Blends to make them match any project you are doing and the colour doesnt rub off! Just another way to use the Stampin’ Blends!
Now it’s time to start the tour of the Design Team’s blogs to see how they have used this technique ..
Good Afternoon and welcome to another Freshly Brewed Projects with the Latte Girls Blog Hop. We are so glad you’ve joined us and this week we are sharing projects made with the Baby Wipe Technique.
Baby Wipe Technique
The Baby Wipe Technique has to be one of the funnest and easiest techniques you’ll do! All you need is …
Clear Mount Stamp Case
I love that every time you stamp with this technique the image is different!
Here’s some cards I’ve made using the Baby Wipe Technique …
I really love how this flower stamp came out with this technique and how each time I’ve stamped it looks different. The colours used in the card above are Daffodil Delight, Peekaboo Peach and Flirty Flamingo. They all go so well together dont they?
I loved the random background above but also love the effect of the single stamp …
I love the difference in the two sets of colours in these cards and how the blue card is so striking yet the Flamingo card is so much softer. The blue card was done using Lemon Lime Twist, Tempting Turquoise and Night of Navy Ink Refills.
Good evening! I’ve got a couple of super quick and easy cards for you tonight featuring some of the papers from the Designer Series Paper Sale and the Just Add Text Stamp Set.

Just Add Text
Have you seen the Just Add Text Stamp Set? it’s a great set, full of sentiments, and is perfect for when you just need to ‘Just Add Text’! My cards tonight feature that stamp set …
This is a sweet card and how lovely is that saying? The background paper comes from the Naturally Eclectic Designer Series Paper pack and the sentiment panel is doe using the Layering Squares Framelits and embellished with some Berry Burst Crinkled Seam Binding.
Now every time I see this stamp my head ends up with Joe Cocker singing ‘You are so Beautiful to Me’ and now that I’ve shared that you probably do too! The background piece of Designer Series Paper is from the Naturally Eclectic Paper Pack and the sentiment panel is done with Layering Ovals Framelits. I’ve embellished the card with the Pool Party Shimmery RIbbon.
This one is my favourite tonight. I’ve used the Whole Lot of Lovely Designer Series Paper for the background – how pretty is that paper? That pack has lots of gorgeous designs just like that one in it so make sure that one is on your list! I love the sentiment and that little punch makes is super sweet. My little bow is made using the Sheer Ribbon.

Welll … this has been a project I’ve been meaning to do for a while. I decided this past week to get stuck in and get these pages for the Love Today Planner designed. I am just a wee bit excited to share them with you today!
Love Today Planner
Now I will admit I’ve had this planner since it was released in June and I have used it somewhat but not to it’s potential! I mean you can use it like a diary or your can use it like a diary, journal, memory book all in one! Then add some extra pages designed specifically for organisation, goal setting and direct selling and well it’s just become your life line!
The beauty of this planner is that it can be what ever you want it to be. You dont have to wait till January to start it either! As the pages come undated you can start it whenever you wish and just keep revolving the months – too easy!
You can even dress up your pages and stamp in it with our Classic Dye Inks and they wont bleed through the page! Here’s what I’ve done for October …
How fun is that planner now? I even started on dressing up November! As we have the Blends starting November 1st I added strips of Just Add Color Specialty DSP and I’ll colour bits of it during the month with my new Stampin Blends …
Now I mentioned I’ve been busy creating some extra pages. Originally it was going to be like 4 or 5 pages and I think at last count I’m up to 18 pages! Each time I sit and design a page another one pops into my head! I have them all available for you today and I even have a way you can get your pages for free!
Printable Planner Pages ..
Now I’ve designed some pages for general everyday Planner users.
I know these will come in super handy for personal use as well as those using their planner for their business or work. Here’s a close up of a couple of pages for you …
Being a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator I’ve made quite a few specific to my business
Now since taking this photo I’ve added more sheets which will be included in your pack. I know these sheets are specific for Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators but they could be easily used in other businesses.
If you love the look of these and one (or two) of my pages could be easily adjusted to suit your Direct Selling Business please be sure to contact me and let me know what changes would work for you. I’m happy to look into doing that for you depending on how many changes would be required.
Now I did also sit down and make a video to share with you how I’ll be using it from now and a quick look at the pages. I would love for you to take a look and share any feedback you have or even ideas for more sheets.
I’m planning to do an updated video each month which wont be as long as this one today. My apologies for that but there was just so much I wanted to tell you and share with you – mind you the original video was twice as long as this one!
I do hope you like what I’ve done and here’s how you can get your hands on the printable pages …
All files are in pdf format and all you need to do is save them then print them to your hearts content. I’ve even placed a box around the sheet for you so you know where to cut so it fits perfectly in your planner!
Love Today Perfect for Christmas …
The Love Today Planner will make the perfect Christmas gift for anyone with a schedule and who doesn’t have one of those? Planners are really big now and yours would be the favourite present this year for sure when you give the Love Today Planner!
Remember, the pages aren’t dated so they’ll be perfect for any year! You can also just by the refill kits as well so no need to buy the full planner each year!
I hope you enjoy my new Planner Sheets and I’m looking forward to bringing you the next instalment in November!
Good Afternoon and welcome to another Freshly Brewed Projects with the Latte Girls Blog Hop! Now I know the title sounds like I have a new coffee blend but I’m really talking about the new Stampin’ Blends Alcohol Markers!
Oh my gosh .. if you love to colour you are going to love these new Alcohol Markers from Stampin’ Up! I have been colouring with them for a couple of weeks now and I really have to make myself stop and do other stamping!
Once you start colouring with them you’ll notice how nicely the inks flow onto the cardstock. Now I dont mean pour out as they dont do that and they arent wet but the ink just seems to flow onto the cardstock which makes blending so easy to do!
My card for you today uses the Just Add Colour Specialty Designer Series Paper (yes this is one of the packs in the Designer Series Paper Sale – Buy 3 and get the 4th free!)
This card has a bit of a funny story to it. See I struggle with insomnia. Sometimes it’s not too bad and other nights well I just have to get up and do something. There was one of those nights where I had to get up and I remembered I hadnt unpacked my Blends so I unpacked them and popped them on the shelf.
Then thought I should try them out. So I grabbed this piece of Just Add Colour paper and started on the Seahorses. I love Seahorses at the best of time but these just popped when I coloured them and no matter how much ink or how I blended the paper didnt pill – I was chuffed – so I kept colouring and then it suddenly became 4am! whoops!!
You can even use your Stampin’ Blends to coordinate your rhinestones (or pearls) to your project ….
I coloured mine with the Dark Pool Party Stampin’ Blend Marker and they work so well on the card. You could even say they ‘blend’ in!
Now I love these Blends so much I’m doing two classes!
First is at my place this Saturday 28th October. We will start at 2pm and class will go for approximately 2 hours. Please be sure to contact me to reserve your place!
Second class is an online class on my Stamp A Latte Creative Community group on Facebook. It will be on 7th November at 10.30am and you’ll need to register early for the free class so I can get your class Kit to you in time. You will need to order your Markers early in November to have them in time for class too!
Thanks for stopping by and I do hope you like my seahorses! Now it’s time to see what Narelle and Libby have created for you today …
Good Afternoon and welcome to another “Merry Monday”. This week I’m using the Watercolor Christmas Stamp set.
Watercolor Christmas for Merry Monday
Recently, at a party, I demonstrated this stamp set and the Watercolor Christmas Project Kit. I was asked why you’d need that particular stamp set if they had other Christmas stamps they could use with it so I had to make a card to show why you need the Watercolor Christmas Stamp Set.
Dont you love how this card came out? It’s even all embossed using the Classic Ink Pads which means your embossing can be any colour we have an ink pad for!
To heat emboss with dye inks you simply ink up your stamp in Versamark and then immediately ink in your chosen Classic Ink Colour – for this card I used Tranquil Tide. Then sprinkle with clear embossing powder, shake off excess and heat till it’s all melted. It works like a treat!
I then just watercoloured my trees with the Tranquil Tide Ink pad and my Aqua Painter. The metallic edge ribbon finishes off these cards beautifully.
So dont overlook the Watercolor Christmas stamp set as you can make some really lovely cards with it – not just for the kit!
