Good THings with Butterfly Gala Bundle by Leonie Schroder Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Australia

Good Things

Good Evening .. well I’ve been getting sidetracked all day so the post I’d planned to put up this morning is now going up after midnight! I suppose Good Things come to those who wait … eventually!

Good Things

I love this sentiment from the Butterfly Gala Stamp Set! The Good Things in Life are Better with YOU … and they are!

I mean I love stamping and creating fun cards like this one but when I do it with friends or with you, whether it be online or in a class or workshop or just to share with you here on my blog, it is better. I was about to say if I was just doing it for me then it would be pretty pointless but no … we all need to do things that make us happy don’t we? So making a card to give to a friend and hopefully brighten their day is not pointless.

The Butterfly Gala Stamp Set is coming in the new Occasions Catalogue and you’ll be able to purchase it in a Bundle with the gorgeous Butterfly Duet Punch

As you can see there are lots of images in this set – 18 actually! To my utter delight all those butterflies are joined together on the same piece of Photopolymer. So when you stamp them they are perfectly aligned to fit the punch! How cool is that?

Gingham Gala Suite

For today’s card I’ve also used these products from the Gingham Gala Suite …

Gingham Gala Suite

How pretty are they? I know you are going to love this suite as much as I do. Now that Gingham Gala Designer Series Paper Pack is wonderful! It has a small gingham on one side and a larger on on the back and comes in 5 gorgeous colours!

Some of the details on my card are …

  • Fine splatters using the Lemon Lime Twist & Balmy Blue Stampin’ Write Markers on my Whisper White layer.
  • Soft colouring using the Watercolour Pencils and blending with Blender Pen on the Butterflies
  • those Adhesive Backed Sequins – oh my … I will be using lots of those on a lot of my projects!
  • Apply adhesive glue to just behind the centre body of your butterflies so you can still lift those wings!

I do hope you liked my card today and if you’d like to see how it was made you can see it on my Facebook Live Video (card starts at 31:33) …

Did you notice my new blog banner & buttons? That was one of the ‘sidetracks’ I took yesterday … whoops! I do love the nice clean minimalist look though. Do you like it?

Thanks so much for stopping by and see you latte ..
