Freshly Brewed Projects with Pillow Boxes

Good Afternoon and Welcome to another Freshly Brewed Projects Blog Hop with the Latte Girls.  This week we are creating with the lovely new Pillow Boxes

Freshly Brewed Projects with the Latte Girls BLog HopPillow Boxes

I love the new Pillow Boxes!  They are cute and fun to create with.  They are perfect to decorate for all sorts of small gifts.  With them at just $8.75 for ten it makes it a very affordable way to give little gifts as well!

Now for today’s projects I’ve done something a little different.  I mean there are lots of ideas to decorate for gifts but I wanted to share a couple of other ways to use these little Pillow Boxes.

First up we have a Pillow Box Quick Shot

This is perfect for giving your friends a Quick Shot as a pick me up or just to say Thanks.

I snipped the front top flap off which gave me the ‘scoop’ top.  The “Thank You” comes from the Stitched All Around Stamp Set and I’ve layered it on Gold Fold and Basic Black Circles.  The Shimmery Black Ribbon is perfect for this Treat.

The second project I’m sharing today comes from the ‘I wonder if the Narrow Note Cards will fit in the Pillow Box‘ thought I had while creating the Quick Shot project.

Introducing my Pillow Box Quick Notes

Apparently the Narrow Note Card do fit in the Pillow Boxes! I made three little Narrow Note cards …

Each card is stamped with a flower from the In Every Season Stamp set.  It’s stamped in Jet Black Stazon and then water coloured with the ink from the ink pads and an Aqua Painter.

All the sentiments used on the Note Cards are from the Itty Bitty Greetings Stamp Set.  I do love the Lily of the Valley flowers and I’ve coloured the  leaves in Granny Apple Green. The flowers are coloured with the Clear Wink of Stella Brush so they remained white and are now all shimmery as well.

I chose the Water Lily for my last card and coloured it with Lovely Lipstick.  I’ve created a little water using the Aqua Painter and some Coastal Cabana.

I wanted to keep the cards clean and simple and just the one layer. So to give it a little more character I created splats on each card using my Stampin’ Write markers.

I do hope you like the little projects I’ve created for you today and do apologise for my post being late.  I was trying the new format with WordPress and well lets just say it needs some work!

Let’s go hopping ..

Thanks so much for stopping by today and see you latte …
