Framed Flowers

Happy Saturday to you and what a lovely warm sunny day it is here! It’s so nice to have some warm weather again!

Last week I had a couple of friends come over and help in our front garden. We weeded and pruned and dug out a few plants – wow that Aloe really does take over doesnt it!  We popped in some new plants too – we picked up a few little/young plants to fill it up which was great as we managed to grab 5 plants for $20 and 4 natives for $25. At least this way if a couple dont survive then we havent lost a bucket load of cash!

Why am I talking about my garden? well today’s card reminds me of looking out onto a garden of flowers ….

This card is another quick and easy card and was inspired by a card by Vicky Hayes.

My tip for knowing ‘where’ to put the flowers so they stay within the ‘frame’ is to lay the top layer on the card base upside-down and then stamp your flowers inside that square. When you are done you simply turn the top layer over, stamp the sentiment and adhere to your card base with dimensionals.  Too easy!

Hope you like today’s card and thanks for stopping by and a big big thanks you to my sweet friends for helping me in my garden!
