Spring has Sprung!

Well it was a beautiful Spring day on Friday in Sydney and I flew down to Victoria yesterday to do some ‘family’ things that need doin.

I managed to spend the day yesterday with some lovely demonstrators I’ve been ‘networking’ with online for a while. It was great to finally meet Kim Conway, Kylie O’Brien, Mel Sharp and Jo Weedon.  We had a great time chatting and having coffee and a very big thank you to Kim and Kylie for coming and picking me up from Avalon Airport.

Now since its a lovely 25 degree (celcius) in Sydney today I thought I’d share this lovely spring card with you ….

fluttergrass

How sweet is this card? This is another of my ‘queasy’ cards.  So quick and easy to do – you simply sponge your clouds, stamp on the grass, attach the ribbon and butterfly and layer and youre done! So So easy :)

This was one we did at a Stamp A Stack cards a couple of weeks ago and the ladies loved it. I just love showing people how to do those clouds!

Live with Passion

I mentioned last week that I’d had a creat-a-fest with Inspired by Nature.  Inspired by Nature is one of those wonderful unisex sets that you can use for anything.

Here is a great ‘Clean and Simple’ card that takes just minutes to create.

Stamps: Inspired by Nature
Paper: Whisper White
Inks: Soft Suede, Old Olive
Accessories: Old Olive grosgrain ribbon

See – even the recipe is clean & simple.

Again this is another of those ‘multi occasion’  cards which can be used for any purpose and so quick and easy to put together!

Thinkin I might make a new category of cards and call is Queasy – for Quick and Easy :)   gives a whole new meaning to the ‘queasy’ term does it not? It’s a bit like how kids these days use the terms “sick” and “wicked” dont ya think??

If you wanted to lift this card a little just use a Soft Suede card base and make the white a layer on top – still a ‘Queasy’ card ;)
