Hi, I am Leonie and live in Campbelltown, NSW Australia, which is located in Sydney’s South West.

I am married with 2 lovely daughters (13 and 10 ) We also have two special angels in Heaven. Daniel (2005) was born still at 35 weeks due to Trisomy 18 and Hannah (2001) miscarried at 18 weeks.

Before children I worked in banking with various roles from typist, teller to lending officer and looking back I don’t know how I did it or why we put off having children for so long!! I just love being a mum and yes it can be stressful but it definitely has its rewards!

I was introduced to stamping some 8 years ago and swore I’d never be a scrapbooker but alas I am now a stamper who scraps … or is that a scrapper who stamps?? I love to make cards and gifts for friends and family and they too seem to appreciate the effort you have gone to for them. I was with another party plan company and always found it hard to book demonstrations or get sales but with since joining Stampin’ Up!® in August 2006 its been a dream – the products just sells themselves and everything they have is just sooo nice to use and as soon as you open the Idea Book & Catalogue you just ‘need’ it all! Stampin’ Up!® are so very supportive to their demonstrators it makes a nice change!

I never dreamt that Stampin Up would take off like it has and my team now has over 60 demonstrators which is such a huge thing – I never thought I’d sign one person up let alone 7!! I feel so blessed through my stamping and scrapping and i have met so many lovely (and some loopy!) people and made some great friendships – some that have seen me through the bad and good times and I am blessed to be able to call them friends!

When I’m not stamping or scrapping I also enjoy reading a good mystery novel, watching TV with family or having coffee with friends – oh I enjoy the odd nap too!

Hi Leonie, I was just re-joining ESAD on Ning after seeing your message on the old ESAD and I thought I would check out your blog. After reading your profile above, I thought I just had to drop you a line. I too lost a little boy, Levi, in 2000 from Trisomy 18, he was still born at around 35 weeks also. I have never met anyone else who has had a baby with Trisomy 18. He was our first born, so as you can imagine how difficult it was for us to try again. But we have been blessed with 3 more children, but that didn’t come easy. With Levi’s pregnancy I developed Reces- disease which has been risky for each pregnancy. But it was because of Levi that I got into Scrapbooking (to be able to record my memories of him during pregnancy and my rare photos of him at birth) and from scrapbooking I have then found stamping and joined Stampin’ Up! last year.
