The Fifth Avenue Floral stamp set has to be one of the favourites at the moment – I just love it and I love everything I’ve seen made with it.
I had some time to play the other day while my girls were at the School Holiday program at church. I pulled out the Fifth Avenue Floral set as I really havent used it much since getting it in April.
I saw this layout for a card somewhere in the last week or so (if its a case of yours please email me so I can link to you and give credit where credit is due!)
Its a lovely simple layout and makes such an elegant card.
The actual Lily is ‘paper toled’ in that there are three levels to the flower to give it more dimension. I’ve stamped it three times onto Whisper White using Basic Black Classic Ink and just lightly sponged the baja breeze ink using the sponge daubers (one of my recommended ‘must haves’) and layered the top two layers using stampin dimensionals.
The patterened paper is from the Baja Breeze Patterns Designer Series Papers which I’ve just used the eyelet border punch on. The Kiwi Kiss patterned paper is from the Urban Oasis Designer Series Papers.
I’ve used the black grosgrain ribbon and attached a button from the Button Bouquet Designer Buttons and the sentiment comes from the On Your Birthday stamp set which is a great set full of different birthday greetings.

As I was making this card I checked this week’s challenge on Stampin Up! Late Night Stampers yahoogroup which was to create a card in Black and Pink so I used this same design but using just Pink and Black.
Here is my card for this challenge – as you can see its the same card in pink tones.
It makes a lovely elegant card in either colour dont you think? I must say that I do think that a combination of any colour and black makes it a lovely elegant card.
Now we have a cyberstamp weekend for our ESAD group – thats our group for Extra Special Australian (Stmapin Up!) Demonstrators and we’ve had our first challenge set by the lovely Mel Sharp so I’m off to create a card for that and my Diva Sketch Challenge due on Saturday.
Have a great night and dont forget to make some time for YOU! If you dont know how to have fun with paper then give me a call and I’ll show you just how much fun it is!

I love this stamp set. Really nice job. Thank you for sharing.
Gorgeous cards Leonie….will have to case these ones!
For me…I think it is the black in these cards that do it for me. Black has such a presence and elegance…that u can’t go wrong. I love the tolled lily…it look amazing in both tones. Well done Leonie!!
love this Leonie….this is my fave set I use it all the time….mine needs a rest so that some other stamps can get an airing. It is great to see what you have been up – such great cards you make……..will need to organise a stamping date once the weather warms up a tad.
Great card, love the paper toiling, gives the image such a lift!
Leonie, you just keep doing such beautiful things! I love your stuff!
As always, these are great, Leonie! They renew my interest in that stamp! Thanks so much for sharing!
Great cards Leonie! I love this set also. Did you use dimensionals between the layers? I miss Baja Breeze!
Yes Betty … I always use my dimensionals … love those things!

PS … Meant to say … I think this was a Mojo Monday sketch design. I seem to remember doing one like this … but I’m sure it wasn’t my idea! I love your colours on both of these! Always inspiring! xxx
these are great Leonie. Whilest I have used the Manhattan rose from this set I must admit I haven’t used any of the other stamps in the set. You have inspired me to do that. Great work and thanks for sharing
