Christmas Circles

By Leonie

I was patiently awaiting my order I placed last week to prepare for Monday’s Stamp A Stack and since it had some pre-order items for the upcoming Spring Mini Catalogue it took its time arriving – it didn’t arrive till after I left for the Stamp A Stack yesterday so I had to come up with a new Christmas Card using some cardstock and stamps I already had.

Now trust me all this thinking is not good for one’s health and well-being!

BaubleCard

Here is the card I created ….

Its a simple and rather easy card to make and that’s just what you need for making multiple Christmas Cards.

I’ve used Circle Circus to create the baubles and the greeting is from the Best Yet stamp set which is a Hostess Level 1 stamp set. I’ve used the circle punches to punch out the images and then used the (retired) metallic cord to ‘hang’ them.

There is a dimensional behind each bauble to give it the effect of hanging off the tree. I have also attached a piece of in colour cardstock to the back of each bauble to ensure the cord doesnt come away and the bauble fall off. I’ve just punched a  ircle the same size and the top image is punched.

I love the boldness of the Pacific Point card and have now declare it a ‘christmas’ colour!

This also shows the versatility of the Stampin’ Up! stamps as regular sets like this one can be used as a ‘christmas’ set.

Hope you like this card too and if you’d like to book your “Christmas” stamp a stack in email or ring me to save the date!

You’re right Leonie…..this is a simple and elegant, yet easy to mass produce Christmas card.
I’ll definitely be CASEing this one this year for Chrissy….better get started on those cards soon…..last year I sent out about 80cards…..best not to leave that to the last minute or no one will get a card this year.

Thanks for sharing your talent.

What an excellent idea Leonie!
Very Christmassy … might be doing some pacific point xmas cards myself this year. It goes great with silver and white.
