Springtime Stems
Posted by: | CommentsWell its been so cold here the past week I thought I could use some bright and cheery colours to add a little warmth here!
When I first saw the Springtime Stems Hostess set it really didnt do much for me but lately I have seen some lovely cards done using this set so I gave in and ordered it.
This card is a case of the card in the 2007 Idea Book and Catalogue but just used different colours and its amazing how just changing the colours used in a card can make the difference.
There is only one week left to take advantage of the ‘Just Add Water’ promotion and with a lovely 25% off the Watercolor Wonder Crayons Sets and the Watercolor Pencils with every $50 purchase why wouldnt you want to take advantage of this special? Both the crayons and the pencils are of the highest quality and so lovely to use and again all the colours co-ordinate with the family colours of the great range of card stock, papers, inks and pastels from Stampin’ Up! you really cant go wrong.
Now if you do make a purchase and get stuck with how to use any product then just let me know and I will come and show you - depending on where you are located. I would love to come and show you how to use any Stampin Up! product you have bought from me or even arrange some classes on how to get the most out of your Stampin Up products. Just give me a call or send me an email and we will go from there.
Dont forget there is only one week left of this great promotion so dont miss out on this great special and get your order to me today.
Water Fun …
Posted by: | CommentsNo No … I’m not playing with the kids in water … too cold for that - it’s winter here remember??
I was helping a friend locate some stamp sets that had retired and I came across this cardonline and decided that I did like the design just not the colours. So while she was surfing and browsing I decided to get a little creative and so here is my take on that card I found.
I have used True Thyme, Cranberry Crisp and Whisper White cardstock. Stamped the images in Jet Black Stazon and coloured them with the lovely Watercolor Wonder Crayons and the aqua painter.
I love the deep tones this has turned out in and I can see quite a few of my christmas cards being in True Thyme and Cranberry Crisp!
Now if you would like to see this card demonstrated for you and a couple of your friends book in for a demonstration during July and not only will i demonstrate this card for you but you will get to keep the card I make!
Remember for the month of July the Watercolor Wonder Crayons and Water Color Pencils are on sale at 25% off with every $50 order.
If you cant have a demonstration this month and would still like to take advantage of the sale then feel free to email or ring your order through to me - or why not hold a catalogue party and you can then earn all the hostess benefits as well - minimum sales of $300 are required to earn hostess benefits.
I do hope you like this card - I know I’m quite fond of it … have a great day!!
A Touch of …. Water colour!
Posted by: | CommentsWell today is a true winter day!! Its only 15C outside and very windy at gusts of 46km per hour - great for washing though and keeping warm inside and stamping!!
I think I have fallen in love with the Touch of Nature set - it has such beautiful images and they work so well with the Watercolor Wonder Crayons. I just love these crayons and they just glide on and blend so beautifully and now they come in family colours are more affordable and even more so with Stampin’ Up!’s July special.

From 1 July - 31 July 2007 when you spend just $50 on Stampin’ Up!’s gorgeous products you then have the opportunity to buy and one of the single colour family pack of Watercolor Wonder Crayons or the Water Color Pencils at 25% off!
What a great saving that is!!

This card was done using the Touch of Nature set and cardstock from the In Colour range - I just love these colours - Marigold Morning and Cranberry Crisp. I’ve stamped onto Confetti White cardstock, stamped in Classic Basic Black ink and coloured with the scrummy Watercolor Wonder Crayons.
Now if you’d like a demonstration with the Watercolor Wonder Crayons or Watercolor Pencils and how easy they are to use hop on the phone or email me to book your demonstration as this special is only for the month of July. My contact details are here.
